It's no secret that the Carolina Panthers have struggled along the offensive line all season, particularly on the interior. Starting left guard Brady Christensen went down in Week 1 and was lost for the season, Austin Corbett didn't return until a month ago but re-injured his knee and is done for the year, and rookie Chandler Zavala has suffered a couple of injuries.
The Panthers are constantly searching for ways to improve the pass protection for rookie quarterback Bryce Young and Wednesday afternoon, they added a new option to the mix in veteran Gabe Jackson.
Jackson, 32, has started 130 games in his career, spending time with the Raiders (2014-20) and the Seahawks (2021-22). Ideally, Carolina would like to ease Jackson in since he has not played this season, but with the mounting injuries in the o-line room, they don't have much of a choice but to get him ready as soon as possible.
