The Cardinals and St. Louis Rams squared off on Sunday in a game which was quite boring through regulation.  Luckily for the fans things picked up on overtime and rookie phenom Patrick Peterson set a franchise record by returning a punt for a touchdown for the third time this season.  Peterson returned a punt 99 yards in overtime to give the St. Louis Cardinals a 19-13 overtime win.  Patrick Peterson is the 3rd rookie to have 3 punt returns for TD in season.  The video is below and I’m sure one that the Rams will be seeing plenty of times prior to tackling drills.  You can watch the video HERE courtesy of the NFL. Desert Shield: Rams test the Cardinals' rookie corner and lose. Badly.

This game featured one offensive touchdown, two safeties, four or five cart trips, and six field goals -- one blocked, and that made all the difference in yet another awful loss for the St Louis Rams under the Spagnuolo regime.
