Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson had a pretty spectacular rookie season, but according to his head coach Pete Carroll, we're in for a real treat in 2013. In a question-and-answer session with Seahawks' fans, Carroll was asked who on the team would take the biggest step forward next season. “I think it’s going to be Russell Wilson,” he said, via the team's website. “I think he’s going to really do well this year. He’s going to bust out and will benefit tremendously from his first year. It may be hard to imagine he’s going to get any better, but I think he’s going to get a lot better, being he was a first year starter, first time in the League.” var switchTo5x=true; stLight.options({publisher:''});

  • Pete Carroll is nothing but a crook who carved his infamous name with USC so much so the school was sanctioned for a few years. Look at where those so called stars he created are now: Reggie Bush (who lost his Heisman trophy); Steve Leinhart.
    This coach will take the Seahawks to its grave. The Hawks has done nothing but choke when crunch time comes. Look at their so called flawless performance against the Falcons... Only to lose their tails at the end. Despite your good performance against the 49ers in week no. 16 have you been to any other place other than losing on the road....
    The Pacific Northwest football fans have not gotten anywhere other than the toilet can when Mike "Fatso" Holmgren took you to the Super Bowl only to wind up as losers despite your all star Shawn Alexander and the aging baldy Matt Hasselbeck.
    Next agenda for you is how long can you keep Carroll from winding up in jail.
  • Steve Leinart??? are you sure you don't mean Matt Leinart. Sounds like you are a SF fan, so sorry, of course they lost their last SB also.
  • Jennifer34? WOW can you say misguided rage? I knew you could. I too think your a 9er fan, but comments like "fatso" and "baldy" only hurt yourself. Pete's Way cool!

    GO HAWKS
  • poor little uneducated jennifer...nearly every expert is picking the hawks to be the team to beat but jennifer is obviously still distraught over some ass whipping that the hawks put on her favorite team....it's crybabies like her that allow us to enjoys certain wins for years to come when we see ignorant comments like hers...lol. First, your facts are wrong,second, your grammar is juvenile and sloppy, third, maybe you should choose your favorite team by some other factor other than a cute QB or pretty color...lol. my guess is that you're either an "Aints" fan who's still suicidal after the first round smack-down from Seattle or you're simply another "whiner" fan that know's you lost your only shot at a superbowl and Seattle will be the class of the league for the next few years...enjoy.
  • Hey Jen, don't sugar coat it, tell us how you feel! Sheesh!

If you were impressed with Russell Wilson in 2012, head coach Pete Carroll says just wait until 2013 (Credit: AP Photo) Russell Wilson’s 2012 rookie season for the Seattle Seahawks was nothing short of miraculous. Seahawks browsed Tebow, unlikely to acquire

The Seattle Seahawks are not expected to make a move to add Tim Tebow to the roster. That news is hardly a surprise but that any team actually kicked the tires of acquiring the 25-year-old is news. Tebow was rarely used after being acquired by the New York Jets last year. The Jets talked about using Tebow in a wildcat formation but his biggest contributions to the team came on special...
