He just continues to set records and win football games. The Broncos 96 million dollar man did it again folks, he brought the Broncos back in the fourth quarter to beat the Cincinnati Bengals 31-21 to hand the Bengals their fourth loss in a row. Manning took control of the Broncos in the 4th quarter to lead the team to 2 touchdowns. Manning now has the Denver Broncos at the top of the AFC West at 5-3 on the season. Manning just keeps getting better as the season goes forward. The Broncos quarterback threw for 291 yards completing 27 of the 35 passes he threw with 2 touchdowns and 2 interceptions on the day. The Broncos has another 68 yards rushing the ball, but it was Broncos receiver Eric Decker who led the way for all Broncos receivers today with 8 receptions for 99 yards and 2 touchdowns. Demaryius Thomas didn’t have too bad of a day himself, he caught 6 passes for 77 yards. Manning sure hasn’t wasted any time this season getting the Denver Broncos into position to contend for the play-offs. If the Broncos can continue to play the type of football they are currently playing they should be a shooin for the play-offs. I’ll tell you one thing right now, I knew Manning was one of the very best at the position, I didn’t think he would be able to have the kind of year he is having so far after the surgeries he has undergone over the past year and a half. Manning will go down in NFL history as one of the very best to ever play the game.
