The Indianapolis Colts were spanked by the Cincinnati Bengals Sunday. Any fan that can't admit that is either delusional, drunk, delusional and drunk, or just flat out lying. They looked nothing like a team that is playoff ready nor one that deserves any kind of accolades at this point in the season. So it is only appropriate that their former quarterback--yes, Peyton Manning--comes through for them and wins Indianapolis one last division title.@cjzero/TwitterNo, he didn't agree to be traded for the final month of the season. He doesn't have a magic fix for Reggie Wayne's knee either. He simply destroyed the Tennessee Titans by throwing for 397 yards and four touchdowns in a 51-28 win.The loss to Cincinnati dropped the Colts to 8-5. Tennessee's loss to Denver dropped them to 5-8. The other two teams in the division are Jacksonville and Houston (do I need to say anything about them?). Even if the Colts were to lose out and finish the season 8-8, and the Titans were...

Broncos drop 51; knock Tennessee Titans out division crown race

With Sunday’s loss in Denver, the Tennessee Titans have been eliminated from the AFC South title race.  Sitting at 5-8 the Titans have fallen to tenth place in the AFC, diminishing any hope of reaching the playoffs. Peyton Manning, a familiar foe of the Tennessee Titans as a former member of the Indianapolis Colts, led the charge drowning Tennessee’s season.  The Denver Broncos...

Peyton Manning wears helmet, uses iPad while in hot tub (photo)

Hot tubs can be a blast, well unless you are hanging out with Peyton Manning. In an odd yet somewhat awesome photo Manning is seen wearing a helmet and using an iPad while soaking his right foot in a hot tub on Wednesday. How Peyton uses a hot tub. Vacations must be a blast with him. — Cork Gaines (@CorkGaines) December 8, 2013 On second thought this...

Peyton Manning tells cold weather critics to shove it ‘where the sun don’t shine’

Peyton Manning has a message for those who say he can’t play in cold weather: stick it. The narrative that Manning can’t play in the cold has been going on his entire career. He spent most of his career playing indoors with the Indianapolis Colts, and he lost when he had to go outdoors in […]

Peyton Manning to his cold-weather critics: ‘shove it where the sun don’t shine’

Tweet If you listen t his doubters, they’d tell you that Denver Broncos All-Everything quarterback Peyton Manning can’t play in cold weather. They’ll tell you all about Manning’s 3-7 record in games where the temperature in below 32 degrees and how he’s colder climates after enjoying the confines of playing in a dome for years. But after he...

Peyton Manning’s take on Broncos win over Titans

Matt Prater set an NFL-record with a 64-yard field goal, while Peyton Manning set a franchise record with 39 completions as the Denver Broncos routed the Tennessee Titans 51-28 on Sunday. The temperature was only 18 degrees at kickoff, but Manning had no trouble in the cold, throwing for 397 yards and four touchdowns.  He became the first player in nine years to throw that many...

Caption The Photo: Peyton Manning In Tub With One Shoe and Helmet On

So here is Peyton Manning in the hot tub soaking his ankle with his helmet on. I am going to guess that he is studying film on that iPad and not playing Angry Birds. (h/t Bleacher Report)

Broncos good at overcoming big early deficits

The Denver Broncos shrug off double-digit deficits like Peyton Manning dismisses his cold-weather critics: with a proverbial body slam. Four times this season the Broncos (11-2) have dug themselves an early hole against a lesser opponent and four times they've climbed right out thanks mostly to a turbo-charged offense that's putting up points at a record pace. They'...

Snow Bowl halts Nick Foles’ chance of breaking Peyton Mannings’ NFL record

G. Pittenger-USA TODAY Sports The first half of the game between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Detroit Lions has been messy on and off the field. The snow has started to slow up, but for the first half of the game the Snow Bowl has had a major impact. Eagles quarterback Nick Foles had his chance of breaking Peyton Manning’s NFL record of 20 touchdown passes without an interception...

PGA Tour Pro John Peterson Practices On Icy Interstate

Is there a warm place anywhere in the U.S.? Winter Storm Dion is crushing the Northeast right now. Peyton Manning is thawing out after an 18-degree win in Denver, and telling the critics who say he can’t play in cold weather to “shove it where the sun don’t shine.” And PGA Tour player John Peterson is stuck in traffic in Texas, so he’s relegated to practicing his golf game...

5 things to know after Broncos beat Titans 51-28

Broncos 51, Titans 28. With AP Photos. By EDDIE PELLS AP National Writer All season, Matt Prater has been an afterthought on a team that's rewriting the record books on the strength of Peyton Manning's passing arm. Now, the Broncos kicker has his name next to one of the most hallowed NFL marks of all. Prater booted a 64-yard field goal to highlight Denver's 51-28 victory...

Philip Rivers helps Chargers beat Giants 37-14

Philip Rivers and the San Diego Chargers still have Eli Manning's number. Not the one briefly issued to Manning at the 2004 NFL draft, of course. Just another victory against him. Rivers found rookie Keenan Allen for two of his three touchdown passes, and the Chargers beat Manning and the New York Giants 37-14 Sunday to keep alive their long-shot playoff hopes. The Chargers...

AFC South winners seeking momentum for playoffs

The Colts have clinched the AFC South title. They're a long way from where they need to be. Sunday's 42-28 loss at Cincinnati, their third loss in five games, exposed even more flaws. Again, Indianapolis (8-5) started slowly. Again, it struggled to run the ball. And again, the rebuilt defense couldn't keep an opponent out of the end zone. While the offense has taken...

Jacob Tamme Could See Larger Role vs. San Diego

Denver tight end Jacob Tamme is expected to pick up most of the work at the slot position if Wes Welker is inactive for Thursday's game against San Diego.Fantasy Spin:Tamme saw 45-of-46 snaps after Welker went down last Sunday and caught four balls for 47 yards. Peyton Manning obviously has plenty of confidence in his backup tight end going back to their days in Indianapolis.

Struggling Colts won't rest players

The AFC South championship hats were on the chairs and inside the lockers at the Indianapolis Colts facility on Monday. Winning the division -- their first since 2010 -- and clinching a playoff spot can be crossed off the list. Now the Colts will move on to their next goal of making a run in the playoffs. But in order to reach that goal the Colts have a lot of work ahead of them...
