Mandatory mini-camp for the Philadelphia Eagles begins today and will go through Thursday. This will be the last full-team activity until training camp gets into full swing at the end of July. The Eagles have had organized team activities (OTAs) for the past three weeks, which were optional. The full team must be present at the Novacare for the mini-camp. As there are no contentious contract battles taking place, all players should be present. As with OTAs, there will still be no pads and no contact, but as with the earlier practices we should receive glimpses of players flying on the radar who may be ones to watch during training camp. We’ll see how the rookies are progressing. We may also get further indications as to what the Eagles are thinking about the depth at positions such as quarterback .
