This week the Philadelphia Eagles won’t have the difficult task of attempting to stop a perfect offense and score against a perfect defense. They also won’t face the embarrassment of having their game switched to their division rival’s because of a horrible score. This week they travel to Met Life Stadium to play against their division opponent, the winless New York Giants (0-4) this Sunday at 1: 00 PM ET. DeSean Jackson The Eagles can work on their problems on offense, specifically blocking for Michael Vick. The defensive problems like tackling are things every team should work on during the week before a game. But the raw talent and high speed of this elusive offense alone should beat the Giants. If Cam Newton’s one dimensional offense and the Carolina Panthers’ defense can shut out the “G-Men,” then anyone can beat them. Not to take away from the Eagles, but this is their shot of redemption. The current New York Giants team is equivalent or maybe worse off than the Washington Redskins that the Eagles faced in week one. Eli Manning has already thrown more interceptions (10) than touchdowns (6) not to mention how the Giants have managed to fumble the ball quite a bit in the run game. Also, the Giants aren’t getting much pass rush this season with only four sacks. This is great for Vick since his offensive line doesn’t do the best job protecting the quarterback. Meanwhile, opponents have sacked Manning ten times so far this year, meaning that maybe the Eagles can get some heat on Eli, resulting in the Eagles leaving the game with a couple of sacks and maybe a few interceptions. Follow isportsweb on twitter This game could be a way for the Eagles to bounce back in a positive direction. Their offense has the ability to revolutionize the league if it works. This can also serve as an evaluation for the coaches to see what really works for them. Most importantly, this game is most likely going to result in the Eagles winning, so for the team and fans alike, this game is something to get excited about.
