The Washington Redskins re-signed veteran free agents in cornerback DeAngelo Hall and quarterback Rex Grossman and signed free agent quarterback Pat White Thursday. According to the Redskins, terms of the deals were not disclosed.
The 5-10, 193-pound defensive back was released due to salary cap reasons on Mar. 11. Reportedly by SI.com, Hall’s deal is worth $2 million, a significant drop from the $7.5 million he was scheduled to make for the 2013 campaign.

Redskins’ head coach Mike Shanahan stated it was difficult releasing Hall, but understands the importance for a player to test the free agent market.
“I don’t want to do is take away from a guy that’s got a chance to make more money than we’re able to offer him,” said Shanahan when asked about offering Hall a pay cut to remain in Washington on Mar. 11. “You know, he’s (Hall) played extremely hard and he’s done everything I’ve asked him to do. I’m sure he’s going to test out the market and after he does
