The Philadelphia Eagles had a rough night on offense against the Kansas City Chiefs and this video sums up their night.  Rather than pick an individual player to pin it on, the ref called it like it is and said “False Start, everyone but the center.”  Tough night to be an Eagles fan. [YouTube]

False Start? Did the Ref just say “Everybody but the Center” (Video)

Last night in the Chiefs/Eagles game, the referee made the most classic call ever during the game when everybody on the Philadelphia Eagles line moved but the center, but this has to be the most classic call ever by a ref.  You have to like this call better than the “Fail Mary”.

How far can the Chiefs go?

“Who is to blame: Kelly or Vick?”  That’s the headline ESPN has put out regarding the Chiefs-Eagles matchup last night.  Of course it’s sexier to talk about the NFL’s new hot topic, that being Chip Kelly’s high octane spread offense lead by one of the most polarizing players in the game, Michael Vick.  But can the Chiefs get a little love? Through three games...

Report: Family Fight Breaks Out At Eagles Game Over Mike Vick & Nick Foles

This all sounds about right. @CrossingBroad yes about 25 of them. Ejected. No one wanted to press charges, of course, because theyre family — John Clark NBC10 (@johnclarknbc10) September 20, 2013 Just for some additional humor. Overheard at Eagles game: Crying girl being ejected. Girl:"But I dont even like football." Officer:"Then why did you dump beer on his head...

After receiving a standing ovation Thursday night before the game, Andy Reid walked out of Financial Field with a 26-16 victory over his former Philadelphia Eagles team. “It’s a good win,” The Kansas City Chiefs coach said via the team’s website. “I was proud of the guys, coming off the short week and the way they went about their business of preparing for a good football team. We knew

Chiefs vs. Eagles Preview: Fantastic Four

With just a scant few days to prepare for the Philadelphia Eagles, the Kansas City Chiefs have a golden opportunity to lay claim to a 3-0 start on the young 2013 season. So can they defeat Andy Reid’s old team on the road? If they do, these four players must step up.

Kansas City Chiefs vs. Philadelphia Eagles bigger than Andy Reid

Andy Reid (Photo credit: Ed Zurga-AP) The Kansas City Chiefs are traveling to Philadelphia to take on the Eagles in primetime Thursday night and what’s being talked about most is the fact that Kansas City’s head coach Andy Reid is making his return to Philadelphia after he spent the last 14 seasons coaching there. There is, however, a game to be played which features intriguing...

Breaking Down the Touchdowns In Kansas City

Since it is Thursday, we have one last day to peel back another layer of the onion looking back at the previous Cowboys' game with our Xs and Os study. This is simply picking 2 major plays in the game and breaking them down from a purely strategic basis and seeing what we can find. Play 1 - 3rd Quarter - 11012 - S12 - Inside pass to Bowe - Touchdown On Monday, in his...

AccuScore Game Preview: Chiefs AT Eagles | Andy Reid Returns Home

While much of the attention in tonight’s Chiefs-Eagles Thursday Night Football game will be on the sidelines with ex-Philly coach Andy Reid, what we really care about is who wins and which players will produce for our fantasy teams. It is, however, important to note that the Chiefs come into Philadelphia with a man who made his name coaching the Eagles for 14 seasons before being...

Andy Reid gets warm welcome from fans in Philly

PHILADELPHIA -- Big Red is back in Philly, wearing unfamiliar red colors and standing on the opposite sideline. Andy Reid returned to a standing ovation Thursday night at the stadium where he led the Philadelphia Eagles to some of their greatest victories. Reid received a warm welcome from a sellout crowd at the Linc when he led the Kansas City Chiefs onto the field minutes before...

Eric Berry Says He fulfilled A Dream With Pick Six Of Michael Vick

Michael Vick has been the guy a lot of young NFL players looked up to when they were growing up. Vick left Virginia Tech when a lot of the young players in the NFL were just early teenagers, and I’m sure it’s been a dream for most of them to play with or against him. One of those players was Chiefs star defensive back Eric Berry.  The former Tennessee Vol’s safety grew up...

The Best Moments From Chiefs-Eagles

Even if the resulting Eagles fan despair is satisfying, it feels like viewers got gypped out of what was a truly intriguing match-up. Like, if this were the Sunday night game, it probably would have played out a lot more smoothly and been thoroughly exciting to watch.Instead, it was mostly just yet another reason why weekly Thursday games are a bad idea. Of course, even bad games...

Welcome back, folks! It’s time for Week 3 of Rob and Penn‘s “Sits and Starts“! Again, to help you all out, we are going to shy away from the obvious picks. Copying from the best

Bruce Feldman spent a week with Texas A&M and wrote about it for CBS. Any college football fan should read the article just to get a feel for how a program operates. What I found interesting though was how the offensive staff watched the Philadelphia Eagles' opener and copied a play...a play that BC also copied and used early in the USC game.On the TV is Chip Kelly's...

About The Eagles, As I Was Saying…

Eagles 16, Chiefs 26, Thursday, September 19, 2013 Turnovers, to quote BGN, are not good. And boy howdy, was last night NOT good. Five, if I counted correctly. It was like, “We don’t want the ball. No really, we insist – you take it. Please.” all night long. Stud of the week: Jason Avant, Mr. Hands, who not only got in the end zone for the first time since 2011 and...

Things To Look For Vs. Kansas City

The Game of the Early Season is here! Andy Reid makes his return to the Linc! At the same time, Donovan McNabb’s number 5 will be officially retired among the Eagles greats. This game is important. Not for those previous reasons. The main reason it is important for this team to have a good game and win this early in the season. The offense has been clicking on all cylinders and...
