Colts receiver Reggie Wayne made what may turn out to be the catch of the year in the first quarter of Indy’s second preseason game. On a terribly underthrown pass by rocket armed QB Andrew Luck, the ball sailed into the hands of Giants CB Aaron Ross, who, instead of making the sure interception, batted the ball into the air, where it was sent flying by Wayne. The 13-year-vet then turned and tracked the ball down to make the incredible diving touchdown grab.

Lots of folks will probably look at this play by Reggie Wayne against the New York Giants Sunday night and pass it off as a lucky grab of a poorly thrown ball from Andrew Luck. In a way they would be right--it should have bee intercepted or at the least knocked down. But it wasn't. Instead it was popped up in the air and hauled in by Wayne for the touchdown.
