According to Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer, the Eagles have been looking for a third and possibly a fourth round pick for cornerback Asante Samuel. Now they’re willing to accept less than that.
The Broncos reportedly offered the Eagles a fifth or sixth round pick for Samuel. The reason nothing has happened yet is because he has agreed to restructure his contract, but Samuel has yet to agree on some other requests from the Broncos.
The Eagles have also been talking with other teams that might be interested in acquiring Samuel.
