The Miami Dolphins have been considered the clear front-runner for free agent fullback Vonta Leach since he was released by the Baltimore Ravens last month.  Despite on-going contract talks, the Dolphins have decided not to an extend an offer to the former 2004 undrafted product out of East Carolina, according to Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald. Source tells me #Dolphins standing pat, going to camp without signing FB Vonta Leach. No offer. Team will weigh options on roster. Leach has received immense interest from around the NFL over the last month.  The Kansas City Chiefs, New York Giants and Cle...

Giants aim for Leach

Vonta Leach will make more money if he returns to the Ravens than if he opts for a change of scenery and accepts what the Giants have offered him. There’s not much more time to play with, though, as the Giants report to training camp Friday. The Giants have an offer on the table for the fullback, but it’s believed to be for one year and the veteran minimum. “Still status...

Dolphins' Gillislee was surprised and excited to join team

Lakeland, FL native Mike Gillislee figured the Miami Dolphins had no reason to draft him back in April, as the team already had a great duo of young running backs in Lamar Miller and Daniel Thomas. Out of the Univerisity of Florida, the big fan of Ricky Williams gets to stay once again in the familiar confines of his home state, and it feels like he's living in a dream after...

15 Most Important Dolphins for 2013: #6 Jonathan Martin & #5 Mike Pouncey

There are definitely concerns for the Miami Dolphins on the offensive line. Jake Long, a former first overall pick and perennial Pro Bowler, is now in St. Louis. The guard position opposite Richie Incognito is also a big area of worry for 2013. But the two more important pieces to Miami's offensive front will rest in the middle and on the far left side of the line. Second...

According to Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald, the Miami Dolphins have decided not to put an offer on the table for free agent fullback Vonta Leach. They will go with what they have on the roster to open up training camp. However, the team could still return to Leach as an option if no player fills the position. Fantasy Team Preview: Ravens

Overall outlook: The defending Super Bowl champs had a great balanced attack in 2012, 15th in passing offense and 11th in rushing. Where Would the Dolphins be Without Free Agency?

As the preseason approaches I find myself thinking about where the Dolphins would be without the free agents that were signed this offseason. I am not big fan of free agent signings because our free agent signings haven't done very well for us in the past. Maybe I am jaded by the Dave Wannstedt era where it seemed that every free agent the team brought in was an over-the-hill...
