According to Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Enquirer, Michael Vick will remain the Eagles’ starting quarterback for next week’s game against the Falcons.
Offensive coordinator Marty Mornhinweg will also continue to call plays despite their offensive struggles.
During this week’s press conference after firing defensive coordinator Juan Castillo, head coach Andy Reid said he would examine his team throughout the bye week and it looks like the only change they’re making is getting rid of Castillo.
As much as Vick is turning the ball over, Nick Foles won’t get the Eagles to the playoffs if they were to bench Vick.

I appreciated Marcus Hayes’ story on Andy Reid being guilty of betrayal of his firing of Juan Castillo.
It made sense and Hayes made a good argument for print.
But I don’t think that is the main issue here.
Andy Reid is running for his coaching life and he is taking down whoever gets in his way.
If Jeff Lurie is a man of his words, 8-8 ain’t gonna cut it.
