Well we always knew that the NFL was a messy business but with less than 24 hours until kick off of the biggest and most watched sports game of the year, Rutgers University alum and now former New England Patriot, Tiquan Underwood has been let go. The news of Underwood’s release was taken in stride and Underwood was an honorable gentlemen about the whole situation. Underwood tweeted, ”Good Luck To The New England Organization, The Coaches, & All My Teammates… #PatsNation.” Therefore, despite what may come across as a heartless and down right mean move, Underwood kept his dignity in tact. Underwood showed up in Indianapolis with the New England logo shaved into his head making the let go of him seem even more heartless. Although Underwood may not have his name on the 53 man roster that will allow him to stand on the field with his teammates, he is a likely choice to return to the team and it has been said that if the Patriots win tomorrow he will indeed still receive a ring.
