The San Diego Chargers take their 2-1 first place record into Arrowhead Sunday to face the Kansas City Chiefs 1-2.

Arrowhead has been a house of horrors for the Chargers of late.

Last year quarterback Philip Rivers fumbled the ball, while trying to kneel down and end the game with 1:03 left. Kansas City recovered the fumble.

In overtime, Chiefs kicker Ryan Succup nailed a game-winning field goal.

In 2010 the Chiefs scored on 96-yard punt return from then-rookie Dexter McCluster, and a 56-yard touchdown run by Jamaal Charles to win an opening day rain filled Monday-nighter.

The Chiefs are coming off what fans hope to be a season turnaround game in New Orleans. After being down 18 points, the Chiefs came alive in the second half.

Defensively they kept Saints quarterback Drew Brees in long field situations, and slowly but surely kicked their way back into the game. Succup kicked six field goals and Chiefs won in overtime. This was the biggest come from behind victory in Kansas City Chiefs' history.

Making history and trying to get the first two blow out losses to the Atlanta Falcons and Buffalo Bills out of their minds, the Chiefs should be ready to return to Arrowhead and be welcomed by a positive fan base.

It’s Charles in Charge time, and after running for 233 yards and catching six passes for 55 yards in New Orleans, Jamaal Charles should expect a lesser role this week.

It would be nice to see some run production out of newly-acquired free agent Peyton Hillis, who has done little to nothing so far for his new team.

Charles is a true talent and the Chiefs need him, but they can’t over work him and give him 33 carries every week. He is running on a freshly-repaired ACL and the rest of the offense will need to help out.

Expect to see wide receiver Jon Baldwin score a touchdown this week. He was targeted by quarterback Matt Cassel in the end zone in New Orleans. Cassel needs to get his passes down and on target, and Baldwin needs to show his worth. He was a training camp sensation this year, but he has yet to show it in the regular season.

Fans are questioning if Cassel is fully recovered from his 2011 season ending hand injury. He seems to be having trouble gripping the ball and his passes are off target.

Linebacker Justin Houston has looked solid so far in the early season. He sacked Drew Brees for a game-changing safety in New Orleans and has been coming around the edge with fury. Pro Bowler Tamba Hali has been taking double coverage this year, and if Houston continues his play, opposing offensive lineman will have to counter their blocking schemes.

The Chiefs have been very inconsistent over the last two years, and have shown little fire in their first two games of 2012. However something sparked last weekend.

The Carolina Panthers and Washington Redskins have both beat the Saints and are also 1-2 like the Chiefs, and have not beaten any other teams. Will the Chiefs follow suit?

With the dramatic come from behind win, and the intensity that Coach Romeo Crennel’s defense played in the second half, fans should expect an amped up Kansas City team.

Look for the Chiefs to move to 2-2 this weekend and knock of the San Diego Chargers.
