Found July 28, 2012 on Seahawk Addicts:
Finally, the wait is over. We're just 90 minutes away from the opening of Bing Training Camp 2012 at VMAC, and I'll be in attendance to make observations and take photos. So many questions about this team, this year. Can anyone remember a time when there was more excitement, more optimism and generally more buzz about a Seahawks team? (The Jim Mora season doesn't count.) Will Sidney Rice stay healthy? Will Antonio Bryant make a true comeback to the NFL and be a contributor? Will Matt Flynn win the starting QB job? Will Robert Turbin's biceps block everyone's view of the rest of the offense? This feels a lot like Christmas in July, friends. Expect Facebook/Twitter updates during the day and a longer post later tonight. Football. Is. Back.

3 reasons the Seahawks will win the NFC West, 1 why they won’t

The Seattle Seahawks will win the NFC West in 2012. A bold prediction given the San Francisco 49ers  had the title wrapped up in Week 13 last season and ultimately went 13-3 in the regular season under first year head coach Jim Harbaugh. Despite the 49ers success  last year the Seahawks will win the NFC West [...]

Seahawks fan gets epic '12th Man' tattoo

Meet Corey Hoover. He has kids. He lives in Denver. He tweets. He parents. He has a bunch of tattoos. And he loves the Seattle Seahawks. LOVES THEM. How much does Corey love the Seahawks, a team that is 269-295 all-time? Corey Hoover loves the Seahawks so much, he recently had this insane 12th Man tattoo needled into his right side from the armpit to his waist. That, Seahawks Nation...

Seattle Seahawks pre-season notes: Training Camp day 2

Save The Date: Seahawks vs. Cardinals The Countdown Is On – Game 1 Is In 42 Days – September 9th, 2012 1:25PM PT - University of Phoenix Stadium 2000 plus, young and old, gathered on the hill above the outdoor practice field at the Virginia Mason Athletic Center, to watch their beloved Seattle Seahawks go through basic drills.  Any NFL observer who questions the 12th Man...

Rice ditches red jersey, still limited by Seahawks

Sidney Rice didn't want to be the only non-quarterback stuck wearing a red jersey during the early days of Seattle Seahawks training camp. So on Day 2 on Sunday, when trainers and coaches weren't looking, Rice slid on his regular blue practice jersey and jogged on to the field. That doesn't mean Rice is cleared for full contact. Far from it, actually, as Rice continues...

Seattle opens camp with QB battle center stage

Seattle Seahawks coach Pete Carroll says he was disappointed by Marshawn Lynch for his arrest on charges of driving under the influence in Northern California, but said he's had good communication with his star running back following the incident. The Seahawks opened training camp Saturday with most of the focus on the three-way battle for the starting quarterback position and...

Seattle opens camp with QB battle

Marshawn Lynch received plenty of cheers from the fans sitting on the grassy hill on Saturday as the Seattle Seahawks began training camp. Whether those cheers get silenced at any point this season because of discipline from the NFL or the Seahawks after his arrest for driving under the influence remains a lingering question. ''This is something we really can't talk...

Report: Russell Wilson still in the Seahawks’ quarterback race

AP Photo According to Peter King of,  rookie quarterback Russell Wilson is still in the race to become the Seattle Seahawks starting quarterback this season. It doesn’t surprise me that Wilson is still in the mix, since both Tarvaris Jackson and Matt Flynn haven’t been very impressive.

Seattle Seahawks extend C Max Unger

This Seahawks have extended the only member of their offensive line who wasn’t hurt last season, center Max Unger. Unger will get over 24 million combined over 2013-2016, adding this extension onto the million or so he’ll make this year in the final year of his rookie deal. This deal also guarantees him 12 million total. Considering elite centers like Scott Wells (4 years, 24...

Seahawks sign Antonio Bryant

The Seattle Seahawks have signed wide receiver Antonio Bryant. Bryant hasn't played since catching 39 passes for 600 yards and four touchdowns for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers three years ago. Bryant was at the Seahawks' mandatory minicamp on a trial basis, but wasn't signed because he wasn't in shape. Now, he apparently is. He has caught 372 career passes for 5,685...

Seahawks’ James Carpenter might not play at all in 2012

Seahawks’ right tackle James Carpenter tore his ACL last November and predictably will start Training Camp on the active/PUP list when it opens for the Seahawks. After that, he’ll almost definitely be transferred to the reserve/PUP list when the regular season starts, which means he’ll miss at least 6 games. According to ESPN’s John Clayton, Carpenter will likely then be...

*My not so gutsy fearless* Seahawks 2012 training camp prognostications

VMAC Prophecy The Headline: When Seahawks training camp opens up this weekend in Seattle, I can assure you that Pete Carroll and John Schneider will stay true to the ‘Always Compete’ mantra and there will be some surprises. In their first year at the helm, it was the much criticized trade for Charlie Whitehurst and the release of starting wide receiver T.J. Houshmandzadeh, just...

Seahawks sign WR Antonio Bryant

Getty Images According to Curtis Crabtree of 950 KJR in Seattle, the Seahawks have signed free agent wide receiver Antonio Bryant to a one-year deal. What’s really interesting is that Bryant hasn’t even played in the NFL since 2009, when he was a member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.  I’m not sure what head coach Pete Carroll is thinking. The Seahawks also brought in Braylon...
