News is slow at this time of the offseason. We all know it. That's why the following is such a huge deal for Steelers fans. Wide receivers Emmanuel Sanders and Antontio Brown pleaded guilty on Monday to leaving boxes by a private dumpster.

You read that right. They pleaded guilty -- to leaving boxes -- by a dumpster.

We'll just go ahead and ignore the fact that they actually had to appear in court to receive a $300 dollar fine for an offense that shouldn't have been an issue. The pair are also responsible for court costs.

The incident didn't just involve a fine. In an ironic twist, Sanders has been pulled from an advertisement for, get this, an anti-littering campaign.

Sanders has expressed that he still wants to be part of the anti-littering campaign, saying the incident was just a misunderstanding. I'll go out on a limb and say I believe Sanders, you know, since he actually put boxes by the dumpster.

I wish I could say there's a great moral to this story, but there really isn't one. If you really have to take something away from it, do the following. Make sure the dumpster you're using isn't private, and go outside. The summer really is a slow time for news in the NFL.
