The Patriots offense was beginning to bring back some old
memories in recent weeks. Unwanted memories, but it was reminiscent
After finally establishing a running game over the first
five weeks of the season, for the first time in what seemed like years, the
Patriots appeared to lose their way. But Stevan Ridley made
sure that fleeting transition in philosophy was indeed short-lived.
After throwing the ball a combined 100 times against the
Seahawks (58) and Jets (42) respectively over the past two weeks and struggling
to find a rhythm on offense in either game, the Patriots decided it might be
best to return to their early-season strategy.
The Patriots, who had handed the ball off on just 36 percent
of their offensive snaps against Seattle and New York, returned to
force-feeding their stable of running backs on Sunday. Ridley was the workhorse
once again, and he didn't disappoint in his return to center stage.

The scoreboard read 45-7, a thorough drubbing of the St. Louis Rams in merry ole England that put the Patriots at 5-3 going into the bye.
One thing is clear, the Patriots can run the ball and have a stable of backs that can get it done. The newest wrinkle is Shane Vereen, a fluid runner with great cutback ability. Vereen started the game despite Stevan Ridley...
When Rob Gronkowski punctuated his first touchdown in the Patriots' victory over the Rams in London on Sunday with a trademark spike, everyone assumed he was paying homage to the local guards at Buckingham Palace.
He was -- we think.
When asked later about the marching steps that preceded his spike, Gronkowski gave an explanation that shed some light on his...

WHOLE NEW WORLD
Patriots owner Robert Kraft reportedly said that he thinks London is ready to have an NFL team full-time rather than just one game a year.
Yesterday was a day full of dancing for the Patriots. Rob Gronkowski got in a couple good ones, Brandon Spikes had a funny dance but Chandler Jones' dance was pretty awesome too.
Rob Gronkowski is a crowd pleaser if nothing else. The Patriots tight end was addressing fans in Trafalgar Square in London on Saturday ahead of New England’s game against the St. Louis Rams when he began receiving calls to “spike the mic!”
Gronk started laughing, stopped talking about the Rams, took one look at the mic in his right hand, and happily obliged with a vicious...
New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski is a total beauty. Gronkowski’s first touchdown celebration is obviously the best one, and by far the most creative. His imitation of the Queen’s guard is hilarious and you have to love the enthusiasm that he plays with.GIFs via: Deadspin
Who will represent the AFC in Superbowl XLVIII?
Will a real AFC football team please stand up… I understand Halloween is around the corner and everyone is trying to changeup their identity, but after the first seven weeks of the NFL season, it feels like every team from the American Football Conference has been celebrating Halloween earlier than scheduled. From the 16 teams that...
Rob Gronkowski caught his sixth touchdown pass of the season as the the Patriots took on the Rams Sunday in London. To celebrate, Gronk busted out this Tin Tin soldier (or Frankenspike?) version of his infamous boom spike celly. The result? Pure Gronk Awesomeness.
Happy Halloween T…

Yes, it was just the Rams. But, how many times have we said almost just that about an opponent.Oh, it's just the Cardinals, it's just the Seahawks, it's just the Jets.Don't fool yourself, if we've learned anything this year it's that you shouldn't take winning for granted. The Patriots not only won, they rolled. They played their most complete game of the...
