Third And Wrong:
New Orleans Saints
Starting this week, I will be playing every Seahawks game on Tecmo Super Bowl as well as every Monday Night Football game. This week, the Seahawks play on Monday night, so I’ll be able to kill two birds with one stone. Here’s a brief recap of a great game between the Tecmo Super Bowl Seattle Seahawks and the Tecmo Super Bowl New Orleans Saints.
*I controlled the Seahawks in this game while the Saints were controlled by the computer.
I knew going into this game that, like the Seahawks in real life, I would need to rely heavily on Marshawn Lynch in order to win. I also knew that I would have to apply a great deal of pressure on 8-bit Drew Brees in order to contain the potent passing attack of New Orleans. I was able to do both from the start.
The Saints got the ball to start the game, and Lance Moore returned the opening kickoff to the New Orleans 19-yard line. After an incomplete pass and a 3-yard run from Mark Ingram, the Saints were facing an early third and seven. I was able...
BEST OF MAXIM
Seattle is the favorite, I understand but marshawn Lynch has been a game changer. If the Hawks want to win this game they are going to need some consistent running from Beast Mode. If Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch runs for 75 yards and a touchdown Monday night against the New Orleans Saints, he […]
According to Mike Garafolo of FOX Sports, Seattle Seahawks WR Percy Harvin had a cortisone shot in his injured hip this past weekend in an attempt to lessen the inflammation. It can't be good news after two weeks off that the surgically repaired hip hasn't responded to the increased activity and needed the shot. Harvin has not been officially ruled out for Monday Night'...
There is not a player in the NFL that is more dynamic, exciting, and productive than Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson. Yeah, I know all about Peyton Manning and the man is fantastic, but Wilson has less talent than Peyton and is doing just as good if not better!Could you ever imagine Peyton pulling off something like this?Guyism.comA lot of folks will point to the crazy...
Seattle Seahawks Marshawn Lynch leads the NFL in making defenders miss tackles on him 55 times this season. On Monday night if Saints fans see just one Saints defender trying to bring down Lynch, bad things are about to happen and the New Orleans defense wants to avoid that scenario at all costs.
In the begining of the history of the Seattle Seahawks, the franchise had a loud fanbase at the Kingdome but an identity was always missing. The team had a lot of great players on that team; players like Steve Largent, Jim Zorn, Dave Krieg, Warren Moon, and John Randle, but was always missing key ingredients in building a Super Bowl contender. After they moved from the Kingdome to...
Russell Wilson was so impressed with the way Seattle prepared for its showdown against New Orleans that he made a point of texting coach Pete Carroll about it.
That's just how Wilson is wired and partly why the Seahawks were the first team in the NFL to clinch a playoff spot with their 34-7 manhandling of the Saints on Monday night.
''That preparation was big,'...
New Orleans defensive coordinator Rob Ryan said Saturday that CB Corey White has impressed him after taking over for CB Jabari Greer, who is out for the rest of the season. White made his first start this season at Atlanta two weeks ago, but will have a tough task against the Seattle Seahawks.
Brandon Browner won’t be playing for the Seahawks on Monday night. In fact, he might not play at all the rest of this season.
Browner is facing a yearlong suspension from the NFL for violating the league’s substance-abuse policy. Although, that suspension may stem from some questionable beginnings.
The NFL assesses one-year bans on players for multiple violations of the drug...
Tweet The Seattle Seahawks and New Orleans Saints met for Monday Night Football in a matchup that will have an impact on who gets the top seed in the NFC come playoff time. It’s no secret the Seahawks have one of the biggest home field advantages in the NFL, with their fans making up the now famous 12th Man. Their faithful make CenturyLink Field...
With Monday night’s dominant win over the Saints, the Seattle Seahawks have now clinched a playoff berth.

With an 11-1 record, it looks like Seattle will have home field advantage throughout the playoffs.

Predicting the Super Bowl for 2014 isn't an easy task by any means. Currently the Broncos sit at the top of the chart, followed closely by the Seattle Seahawks, and the Saints. After last nights game I'm not sure though. The Seahawks dominated the Saints up and down the field for 4 quarters of football. Not sure anyone can hang with Russell Wilson and his crew. ...
Apparently getting absolutely waxed and shellacked on national television wasn’t enough insult for the New Orleans Saints. Now they’re stuck in dreary, cold Seattle, site of two of their most embarrassing losses of the Payton/Brees era, for a little longer thanks to plane issues that are keeping the team grounded. Rubbing salt in the wound was a reported difficulty in finding...
The New Orleans Saints will have Darren Sproles active for Monday’s game against the Seattle Seahawks.
With a short week Sproles missed last week’s game but as expected he will return for the Saints this week.
The winner of tonight’s game will move to the top seeding in the NFC for the playoffs.
Inactive for the Saints are DE Glenn Foster, QB Ryan Griffin, OT Terron Armstead...
The Seattle Seahawks smacked the New Orleans Saints on Monday Night Football with a final score of 34-7. The Saints got beat and only wanted to go home. The only […]
Percy Harvin is not expected to take the field in Monday night’s game against the New Orleans Saints.
When asked about his availability for the Week 13 match-up which could decide home field advantage in the NFC the Seattle Seahawks wide receiver labeled himself as “out.”
Harvin did not practice during the week and there should be concern about the status of the wide receivers...
