When Percy Harvin was taken off the active roster for the Seahawks after a hip injury that required surgery in late July, offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell was left without his star player. Although playing professional football comes along with an occasional injury, Harvin’s versatility allowed them to take pressure off star running back Marshawn Lynch who led the NFL in carries in 2012. A similar case can be made for Terps’ sophomore wide receiver, Stefon Diggs, who was required to relieve the entire offense of pressure in 2012 when Maryland was inflicted with injuries. At one point, the Terps even had to use a linebacker as a quarterback in order for them to complete the last two months of the season. Diggs managed to lead the team in targets and recorded over 1,000 yards in total offense passing and rushing. Although the Terps will be back at full health and have a new offensive coordinator for the 2013-14 season, Diggs is still expected to lead the team in stats and make big plays that rely purely on his athleticism. Feel free to check out of some of Diggs 2012 highlights below:

Seahawks still have no timeframe for Percy Harvin’s return

When the Seattle Seahawks acquired wide receiver Percy Harvin from the Minnesota Vikings this offseason, they were hoping to add a dynamic threat and option for quarterback Russell Wilson. Skip Bayless thought the Seahawks were in the AFC

During last night’s Seahawks-Broncos game,  ESPN’s Skip Bayless posted a message on Twitter saying that the Seahawks are more of a threat to the Patriots in the AFC then the Broncos… Ah….sorry Skip, but the Seahawks play in the NFC.  They were a part of the AFC years ago, but  it’s been a while. h/t Black Sports Online Need NFL Tickets? Seahawks Sign 12-Year-Old With Life-Threatening Heart Condition

The Seattle Seahawks have just added some really young talent to their roster. His name is Kevin Lee, and though he’s an undrafted free agent, he could help lift the Seahawks closer to a potential Super Bowl run more than anyone on the team. Lee, an avid Seahawks fan, is also 12-years-old and has a life-threatening heart condition. Tune into SportsCenter at 11:00 p.m. EST Saturday...

Skip Bayless Does Not Know What Conference Seattle Seahawks Are In

I hesitate to call him a journalist because the majority of the stuff that comes out of his mouth seems to be speculative and inflammatory crap. That's what it makes it so much fun to read all the comments people are making after he messed up when tweeting about the Seattle Seahawks Saturday night. @realskipbayless/Twitter Here is what he tweeted Saturday night when...

Seattle Seahawks Give Fans Something to Watch (in the first half at least)

Preseason games are not for the fans. They are for the coaches to see who can do what and for players to earn a job. Since fans have been without football for too many moons when the preseason finally rolls around we are often too happy to watch. So it is nice when one or both of the teams playing actually gives us something to watch Saturday night the Seattle Seahawks did just...

Things to look for in tonight’s Preseason Week 2 Seahawks vs Broncos tilt

Seattle’s most important game of the preseason The Seattle Seahawks play their second game of the preseason tonight against the Denver Broncos, hoping to find answers to some very important questions.  Where the week one game against the San Diego Chargers was more about getting back into game-time routines, tonight’s game will be all about position battles. Let’s take a...

Seattle Seahawks: 2013 Game-By-Game Predictions

Some people will disagree with me on this article and that is fine.  It’s an opinion piece and yes the Seahawks are my favorite team, but I still believe that they are one of the top 5 teams in the NFL this season. Yes, they lost Percy Harvin.  In an earlier article I said that the trade was a risky one do to Percy Harvin’s injury issues.  Say what you want about what Harvin...

Seahawks hoping to keep finding undrafted gems

(Eds: Adds details, quotes. With AP Photos.) By TIM BOOTH AP Sports Writer Before they landed in Seattle's camp, Benson Mayowa and John Lotulelei knew nothing of the Seahawks' recent history of giving undrafted rookies a spot on the final 53-man roster. All they understood was the difficulty of coming into a camp where there were very few position competitions and with a...

Moments in Time: Seahawks vs. Broncos 2012

Remember the date Moments in Time are usually saved for Seattle Seahawks regular season and post season games. This week, though, I have a special treat for you all. Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos are coming to town this week and it always brings us down memory lane when we play our old foes from the AFC West. One memory in particular is one that is forever etched in my memory...

Seahawks who will come up big against Denver

Preseason Test It’s not too often that you get the kind of opportunity in the preseason that the Seattle Seahawks have this week. Matched up against the Denver Broncos, the Hawks will be taking on a team who they very well could see in this year’s Super Bowl (really not trying to get ahead of ourselves, however). Not only that, but they’ll also be able to see Peyton Manning...
