Texans sign TE Nathan Overbay to practice squad and release FB Zach Boren from the practice squad. — Mark Berman (@MarkBermanFox26) September 17, 2013   The Houston Texans have signed free agent tight end Nathan Overbay to the team practice squad. Overbay has spent time with the Detroit Lions, Denver Broncos, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Pittsburgh Steelers.  He checks in at 6-5 and 270 lbs. and attended Easter Washington. Overbay spent a day with the Texans at their rookie mini-camp as a non roster invitee on a tryout basis and was soon signed by the Steelers in early August.
