The greatest Jewish quarterback of all time was Sid Luckman. I am not just saying that because I am a Chicago Bears fan, I am saying that because Luckman is still considered by many one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time regardless of his religion. After that there is a discussion. Benny Friedman is probably #2. He is in the Pro Football Hall of Fame and is a 4X All Pro. Ranking #3, I'd say Jay Fiedler or Harry Newman. I do not know much about Newman besides him being in the Jewish Sports Hall of Fame. Fiedler was a decent NFL journeyman spending his most productive years with the Miami Dolphins. Being a Jewish quarterback is not a common thing especially at the NFL level. Most of the MOTs in NFL history have been Offensive Lineman (ironic because Jews are usually portrayed with a lack of size). So, the fact that Sage Rosenfels has retired from the NFL is pretty upsetting.   Rosenfels was drafted in 2001 by the Washington Redskins out of Iowa State in the 4th round but never played for them. He was traded to the Miami Dolphins and became, like Fiedler, a journeyman. He had one season where he got a legitimate shot and that was with the Houston Texans from 2006-2008. While Rosenfels showed signs of becoming a NFL starter, tossing 30 touchdowns, eventually the Texans moved on and Rosenfels headed to Minnesota. He was supposed to battle for the starting job, but a quarterback named Brett Favre joined the team and Rosenfels never got his shot. Rosenfels clung to the Giants, Dolphins (again), and Vikings (again) but eventually could not make a roster. He officially retired on July 15th. Hats off to Rosenfels on his career and giving hope to Jewish boys everywhere! You can follow him on twitter @SageRosenfels18.
