Found February 13, 2013 on Cleveland Sports 360:
We could look back on Trent Richardson’s rookie season in the NFL and say, he had a pretty good year. But imagine what kind of year he could have had if he stayed healthy. Richardson suffered a lot of injuries in the NFL. He found out quickly that he wasn’t in Alabama anymore. This is the NFL and yes, one guy can tackle the guy who could avoid that in College. The Browns have to find a way to make sure they can keep T-Rich healthy. A fullback than can lead the way for the so-called beast would be a great move in this off-season. The Cleveland Browns have to find a guy that can bust open hole that will allow Richardson to miss getting hit by the first guy. We all saw last season what he can do once he finds daylight in a defense. The guy is almost impossible to bring down once he is in the open field. Richardson isn’t going to have a long career in the NFL if the Browns don’t fill the need of having a good lead blocker. The guy has already had 3 knee surgeries and the ligaments that ...

Browns could do double damage with AFC North free agents, including Ravens Joe Flacco

When a team gets to sign a key free agent from a division rival, it’s looked upon as doing double the damage. It takes the player away from their team, and the acquiring team has a motivated player to show his former team what they gave up. The Cleveland Browns are sitting in the middle of a deep AFC North free agent class, and they can help themselves, while hurting their...

Peter King From Sports Illustrated Says Joe Flacco Could Land On The Cleveland Browns Who’s Laughing Now?

A few days ago when I wrote that The Cleveland Browns new G.M. should be doing what ever he could do to bring Joe Flacco to Cleveland, people were laughing. Now that Peter King from Sports Illustrated is singing the same song, who’s laughing now? King said Flacco’s Super Bowl success may price him right out of Baltimore. He went on to say a great spot for Flacco to land would...

Millions of people watched as the Browns played the Denver Broncos in week 16 of the regular 2012 season. Millions of people saw Colt McCoy drive the Browns offense down the field and score a touchdown with a pass to Greg Little. Can you imagine Brandon Weeden coming into a game and lead the Browns into the end-zone after sitting on the bench for most of the season? McCoy was able...

Browns owner Jimmy Haslam is committed to win: “we're going to do whatever it takes to win.''

The Cleveland Browns got a much need shot in the arm when new owner Jimmy Haslam bought the organization. Haslam didn’t spend $1 billion as a majority owner to lose football games. He has his coaching staff in place, personnel department scouring the NFL for talent, and he’s going to be right in the thick of it. The main question fans want to know about an owner is if he cares...

Playing the Slots: Greg Little Edition

When supremely talented wide receivers are moved to the slot with more frequency, we’re excited about their usage becoming slightly less predictable. When a guy like Greg Little moves to the slot, we’re happy to see a moderately talented pass catcher play a more natural position. Little isn’t Stevie Johnson, and he certainly isn’t Larry Fitzgerald, but talk of the Browns’...

Cleveland Browns: Team Needs in the 2013 NFL Draft

As we continue the Team Needs series for the 2013 NFL Draft, we proceed to the team with the sixth overall pick; the Cleveland Browns. As seems to be the case at every couple of drafts for the Browns, a new coach will be running the war room. But unlike previous years, they feel they finally have a quarterback they can win with. Sure, he’s 30, but they feel they can win with him...
