This is despicable! Who ever was responsible for tweeting out congratulations last night to each and every NFL team on their draft pick should be locked in a cold basement with only a keg and a sleeping-bag for 3 nights.  The tweet that seems that sticks out as the most horrid is the one to the Patriots.  Why would you even acknowledge anything that your biggest rival does?  Tom Brady stands up in front of the media and says "I hate the Jets," and the Jets reply with pleasantries?  It's no wonder the Pats have gone 16-6 against the Jets in the past 10 years.

New York Jets Draft: Thoughts On Hill And Davis

A few quick thoughts on the New York Jets decision to trade up for wide receiver Stephen Hill and draft linebacker DeMario Davis 1. It appears the New York Jets are taking the best player available instead of looking to fill needs. They have ignored right tackle, outside linebacker, and safety despite major holes in their depth chart. With no picks in the 4th or 5th round, look...

Jets draft Baylor RB Ganaway in 6th round

The New York Jets have selected Baylor running back Terrance Ganaway with their second pick in the sixth round of the NFL draft. Ganaway, taken 202nd overall on Saturday, set Baylor's single-season marks with 1,547 yards rushing and 21 rushing touchdowns last year as a senior. At 5-foot-11 and 240 pounds, Ganaway is a thickly built and powerful runner who adds depth to new offensive...

Coples says Jets got 'great value' taking him 16th

Quinton Coples says the New York Jets got ''a great value'' by selecting him 16th overall in the NFL draft, and opponents ''should be worried'' about him and the rest of the team's defensive line. Coples, introduced at the team's facility Friday, was selected by the Jets on Thursday night to boost their pass rush after a standout career at...

New York Jets Official Twitter Feed Congratulates Patriots on First-Round Draft Picks

Has Rex Ryan lost his competitive fire? How else to explain the New York Jets' official team Twitter feed going off-script during the draft and actually congratulating the Patriots on their draft? The @NYJets account spent most of the night on Thursday sending their congratulations to rival teams and wishing them the best in the upcoming season. Great addition to your team, ...

New York Jets select Quinton Coples, Grade B

I really though the New York Jets would take Melvin Ingram there, but Quinton Coples is a decent choice. Personally, I would not have taken Coples in the 1st round due to concerns about his work ethic and overall effort. However, I can see Rex Ryan being exactly the type of coach Coples will respond to. It’s a risky move, but it fits the Jets strategy in recent years. They’re...

Jets Select DE Quenton Coples

Florham Park - With the beginning of the draft playing out in an insane fashion with pick after pick being traded the Jets fielded multiple calls and considered every option, but when it came time for them to pick they choose to select the highest rated player on their board, Quenton Coples, defensive end from North Carolina."We are excited to get Quenton with the 16th pick...

Jets select Western Michigan WR White in 7th round

The New York Jets have selected Western Michigan wide receiver Jordan White with their final pick, No. 244 overall, of the NFL draft. White bounced back from two major knee injuries early in his career to catch 140 passes for 1,911 yards and 17 touchdowns in his senior season. He's a terrific route runner with great hands and could give Mark Sanchez another solid slot receiver...

Patriots break tradition, bolster defense to help Tom Brady

The New England Patriots moved up not once, but twice in the first round of the 2012 NFL draft in order to strengthen a defense that ranked 31st in the league in 2011.  Traditionally, Patriots head coach Bill Belichick has traded down in previous drafts in order to stockpile picks for future use, but after losing

Wake Forest's fourth draft pick of the 2012 draft came Saturday afternoon in the 6th round when Josh Bush was selected by the New York Jets.
