Found October 26, 2013 on Football Extra Points:
The Patriots have been doing it with smoke and mirrors all season and it's not getting easier.  They've had so many losses due to injury on defense to go with their loses on offense.  Yes Gronk is back and appears to be 100%, but Brady needs to get things rolling on offense to cover-up all their holes. We had a rough week at 9-6, but we're still strong at 77-30 and still in first against the ESPN EXPERTS.  We had Carolina over Tampa so the week started off well. Here are this weeks picks. Carolina over Tampa San Francisco over Jacksonville (Soon to be LA or London) Eagles over Giants Saints over Bills New England over Miami KC over Cleveland  Detroit over Dallas Oakland over Pittsburgh Cincinnati over Jets Arizona over Atlanta Denver over Washington Green Bay over Minnesota  Seattle over St Louis Good Luck! Tom Brady says his throwing hand ‘feels good’

Tom Brady doesn’t want anyone to worry about his throwing hand. Brady’s right hand – specifically his middle or ring finger – appeared to bother him during the New England Patriots’ 27-17 win against the Miami Dolphins on Sunday. But Brady said after the game that his hand is “perfect.” “I didn’t know [how] anyone knows what the back of my right hand looks like...

Report: Aqib Talib ‘Likely to Miss’ Sunday’s Game Against Dolphins Due to Hip Injury

After Aqib Talib avoided talking to the media all week, his status for Sunday’s game against the Dolphins was looking bleak. Talib is “likely to miss” Sunday’s game, according to Pro Football Talk. Patriots pull off “volleyball” interception vs. Dolphins

This is one of those interceptions that you see once every few years and it just has you in awe.  This is easily the best interception that you will see this year.  New England Patriots defensive back Devin McCourty came over to support cornerback Marquice Cole in his attempt to cover Miami Dolphins wide receiver Mike Wallace.  McCourty went up to catch the ball, but quickly realized...

Chandler Jones’ sacks help Patriots' ailing defense

Chandler Jones is on pace to have the most productive pass-rushing season of any Patriot in the Bill Belichick era. Ratchet it up a notch and he might have the best year of any quarterback-seeking missile since Andre Tippett terrorized offensive backfields three decades ago. Jones who has 6.5 sacks is on pace for 15 quarterback takedowns this season and the Patriots need him to...

Patriots: Danny Amendola cleared to play on Sunday

New England Patriots wide receiver Danny Amendola has been cleared to play in Sunday’s game. Amendola missed one game following a concussion and is expected to start the game for the Patriots even while he is listed as questionable leading up to Sunday’s game. The 27-year-old Amendola did not have any setbacks in practice this week and will look to provide a target for Tom Brady...

Tom Brady Playing Against Dolphins With What Looks Like Swollen Throwing Hand (Photo)

Tom Brady‘s first pass of the game went for an interception on Sunday, and the reason behind his accuracy issues might be a swollen hand. Brady smacked his hand off the helmet of a Jets defender during last week’s loss in the Meadowlands, causing him to stretch and flex the hand quite a bit while on the sidelines during the second half of that game. It appears that the hand isn’t...

Devin McCourty, Marquice Cole Use Incredible Concentration, Athleticism to Combine for Game-Changing Interception (GIF)

The Patriots’ defense came up huge in the comeback win against the AFC East rival Dolphins on Sunday. That included a miraculous show of athleticism and concentration by two members of the Patriots’ secondary. Devin McCourty has quietly been one of the Patriots’ best playmakers all season, and he showed it once again in a key moment on Sunday. Early in the fourth quarter and...
