He has now played in 35 games in his first three years with the Eagles and he has 49 tackles, 3 sacks, 2 passes defensed and 5 tackles for a loss. 28-year old Mike Patterson and 26-year old Trevor Laws will have to pick up the pace with Dixon done for the year. Patterson has played in 4 games for the Eagles this year and he has 7 tackles while Laws has played in 3 games and he has 7 tackles for the Eagles so far this year. The Eagles have also re-signed 28-year old DT Derek Landri, who has one of the Eagles’ last cuts before the season opened. He played in all 16 games for the Panthers last year and he had 43 tackles, 3 sacks, 1 fumble recovery, 1 pass defensed and 7 tackles for a loss. Landri should be able to help the Eagles some inside.
