Found July 16, 2013 on Kissing Suzy Kolber:
The Houston Texans on Tuesday released a schedule of themes for each of their home games this season, because what’s a football game unless there’s a broader theme to the experience of attending? Something like Fan Appreciation Day or Salute the Veterans or Barbecue Awareness. The one that really sticks out, however, is the “homecoming game” the Texans will have in Week 13 against the Patriots. Yes, homecoming, as though the Texans were a high school or college team. How adorable. What does this mean for the game itself? Male and female fans seated at opposite ends of the stadium? Over the clothes handies for Tom Brady behind the bleachers? Ed Reed forced to leave for wearing a hobo tuxedo? I suppose we’ll just have to wait and see. I do know that if offensive drives are moving at too fast a clip, Reliant Stadium will slow things down a bit by playing this little ditty over the PA: Couples drive only, folks.

Texans targeting week one return for Ed Reed

Houston Texans general manager Rick Smith has made it clear that they’ll continue to target week one of a regular season for safety Ed Reed’s return to the field after missing the entire offseason after undergoing hip surgery. “(Reed’s) rehab is going well,” Smith said, via NFL.com. “The thing that is important, and we’re focused on, is to make sure he’s there Week...

Brady, Tebow Both Shared Concerns About Hernandez in 2011

Even though Tom Brady and Tim Tebow are teammates now, it looks like they had words in 2011 about some of Tim Tebow’s former Florida Gator teammates. They played each other twice in 2011 when Tebow was Denver’s rising star, though Tom Brady showed him who the real star was in both games (a 41-23 beatdown in week 15 and then a 45-10 drubbing in the divisional playoffs). The conversation...

Brady to Tebow post-game: Hernandez: “A Lot To Handle”

A.B. After the Patriots beat the Broncos 41-23 on Dec. 18 – week 15 of the 2011 NFL season – Tom Brady and Tebow and Brady are shown talking about Aaron Hernandez and Brandon Spikes. Hernandez, who now sits in a tiny jail cell awaiting his murder trial and current Patriots LB, Spikes, were former teammates of Tim Tebow at the University of Florida. Here’s how the conversation...

Tom Brady tells Tim Tebow in 2011: “I’m trying to watch over Aaron and Brandon “

Since it is the offseason, there is a lot more free time to dig up old clips and try and read into what any exchanges between players could have meant.  After the New England Patriots slaughtered the Denver Broncos 41-23 in the 2011 NFL Playoffs, Tom Brady and Tim Tebow met at midfield to exchange some words.  Towards the end of their conversation Brady says, “I’m trying to...

Tom Brady: Four Reasons He Will Be MVP In 2013

I am amazed that so many MVP conversations focus on players who are surrounded by many other talented players. That seems to go against the most simple definition of the concept. Quite often, the winner is the player who put up the most gaudy numbers, such as Brady in 2007. Take away one of those very, potent weapons and then see what he would have done.Well, that is the point of...

Tom Brady told Tim Tebow Aaron Hernandez is ‘a lot to handle’ in 2011

When the New England Patriots and Denver Broncos faced each other toward the end of the 2011 season, reporters couldn’t wait to capture the postgame handshake between Tom Brady and Tim Tebow. Brady and Tebow are two of the most popular players in football, and Tebow had been defying the odds at that point by [...]

Johnny Manziel Is Apparently A Big Fan Of “Tom Brady’s Ego”

Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel has some really famous friends – Drake, LeBron James, Tim Tebow, etc. So it’s not a stretch to think that he could also be buds with New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, right? Hmm… So, either Manziel was fooled by a fake Twitter account, or he’s a big fan of “Tom Brady’s Ego”. Or, maybe he’s just trolling us all ...

Patriots Pulse: Tom Brady, The Hoodie, Gronk & Danny Amendola Rolling Into Foxboro In Style (GIF)

(GIF: Tumblr) Is it training camp yet? This Patriots off-season has been the longest ever with the Hernandez situation, Gronk’s back & Alfonzo Dennard’s infatuation with getting arrested. Let’s infuse some happy thoughts and get this pigskin party started!   Pot Of Baked Beans Goes To Pats Propaganda!

Tom Brady told Tim Tebow he was "trying to watch over Aaron and Brandon “ in 2011

Jason McIntyre writes, "Tom Brady met Tim Tebow at midfield after the Patriots throttled the Broncos, 41-23 in December 2011." And...seems the Patriots quarterback knew that had his hand full with Aaron Hernandez. Refuting a certain Bob Kraft's take, no? Tebow, Brady worried about Hernandez as early as 2011

Tim Tebow and Tom Brady worried about Aaron Hernandez's behavior as early as 2011, with Hernandez being described as "a lot to handle," a newly surfaced video shows.
