Right now in California there’s a manhunt going on for one Christopher Dorner. The former police officer is suspected of killing three people in targeted murders in revenge for his dismissal from the Los Angeles Police Department. The first alleged victim of Dorner was an assistant coach of Cal State Fullerton’s women’s basketball team. At first police had no suspects and no motive, but it turns out that the coach was the daughter of an LAPD officer who represented Dorner at his dismissal hearing. Dorner felt his representation was inadequate. Earlier this week, Dorner posted a manifesto of sorts to Facebook, a rambling composition that touches on a wide, bizarre range of subjects. Gawker obtained a copy of the manifesto, and one of the subjects that Dorner opines on just so happens to be free agent quarterback Tim Tebow. Most of Dorner’s writing espouses liberal political views, including his admiration for Hillary Clinton and New Jersey governor Chris Christie. He also argues in favor of gun control and gay rights. However, he touches on sports in two forms: Tebow and concussions. Dorner requests that his brain be donated to science, as he believes he suffers from depression related to head injuries during his football-playing days. Of Tebow, Dorner is clearly a fan: “Tebow, I really wanted to see you take charge of an offense again and the game. You are not a good QB by todays standards, but you are a great football player who knows how to lead a team and WIN. You will be ‘Tebowing’ when you reach your next team. I have faith in you. Get out of that circus they call the Jets and away from the reality TV star, Rex Ryan, and Mark Rapist Sanchez.” So, just about everybody has now officially weighed in on Tebow, as the quarterback looks for work this offseason. But wherever Tebow ends up, he can know he’ll have at least one fan rooting from him — probably from behind bars, though. Christopher Dorner photo via Twitter/CBS 8 San Diego News
