Many people have joked that devout Christian Tim Tebow has healing powers. He apparently believes that is the case, or that he can at least use his faith to try and help injured teammates. It was revealed in a recent interview that Tebow tried to use prayer and his healing hands to improve safety Brian Dawkins‘ neck injury. “In our Bible study sessions when my neck was pretty bad and I’m hurting, he, along with our chaplain and (Broncos director of player development) Jerry Butler, laid hands and prayed on me pretty good,” safety Brian Dawkins told Alex Marvez on Sirius XM NFL Radio Friday. “They brought snot and tears to my eyes and all that type of good stuff with prayer.” Dawkins was Tebow’s teammate the past two seasons in Denver and the neck injury caused him to miss the team’s final three games last season. Broncos agree to terms with TE Dreessen

The Denver Broncos have agreed to terms with free agent tight end Joel Dreessen. Dreessen chose Denver over the Houston Texans, where he has played the past five seasons. The 29-year-old Dreessen had 28 receptions and a career-high six touchdowns last season for the Texans. In 2010-11, he had a career-high 36 receptions and scored four touchdowns.
