New York Jets quarterback Tim Tebow is the subject of an E! Entertainment Special, with the show premiering tonight at 8 p.m. Eastern. The show was done without Tim Tebow's participation and will chronicle his rise to fame. The Tim Tebow E! Entertainment Special is set to air tonight. Will you be watching?

New York Jets backup quarterback Tim Tebow had always drawn a ton of attention, going back to his days playing football for Nease High School and having the opening game of his senior season televised by ESPN. Then Tim Tebow became a cult hero at the University of Florida, he continued to defy both his haters and logic last season with the Denver Broncos, and now he will have a specific role for the Jets in the media capital of the world.

Few athletes can transcend their sport the way Tim Tebow has. He appeals to people who otherwise wouldn't pay any attention to football, evidenced by a 30-minute special about him being produced for E! Entertainment. This isn't a Tim Tebow TV Special for ESPN. This is on a network that puts out shows like Keeping Up With The Kardashians and The Soup. Tim Tebow appeals to all audiences.

The haters will now have another reason to start chirping, despite the fact that Tim Tebow had no involvement with the E! Special. This will be pointed to as another example of how Tim Tebow will be bad for Mark Sanchez, though it seems unlikely that Mark Sanchez's television will be turned to E! tonight at 8 p.m.

It's a smart move by E!, because some people love Tim Tebow and some people hate Tim Tebow, but they all watch. It's hard to believe that a guy who hasn't been in any trouble, who just goes out and plays and gives credit to others when he succeeds can have so many people that despise him. A big part of that is the media coverage that puts Tim Tebow in everyone's face so often, but he can't control that.

Tim Tebow lovers and Tim Tebow haters, you can get your Tim Tebow fix tonight at 8 p.m. on E!
