NFL Injury Report:
The Tennessee Titans were connected to Indianapolis Colts free agent defensive end Dwight Freeney back in March. It appears that the Titans are again kicking the tires on Freeney, as the veteran pass rusher is expected to visit Tennessee in the coming days, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL.com.
Rapoport adds that no signing between Freeney and the Titans is imminent. Tennessee is visiting with fellow free agent defensive end John Abraham, and the team reportedly wants to gauge how much each veteran player has remaining in the tank before making a decision on which one to pursue.
Freeney struggled handling the Colts' transition to a 3-4 defense last season. He was forced to switch from defensive end to outside linebacker -- something he was unable to do effectively -- and his production decreased as a result.
Considering the Titans already have defensive ends Kamerion Wimbley and Derrick Morgan under contract, Freeney or Abraham would likely be used as a situational pass rusher if they were added by Tennessee.

The Tennessee Titans may not have blow us away during the 2013 NFL Draft, but they did a pretty rock-solid job addressing almost all of their needs and found good value throughout the three-day festivities. With this being a quarterback-driven league and arguably a make-or-break third year for Jake Locker, the Titans decided to give their starting signal-caller a better chance...

The Colts had a nice draft, with some solid players that could be impact players in the near future. 1st Round -- Bjoern Werner -- Defensive End / Outside Linebacker -- Florida StateA lot of people are saying that Werner will have a tough transition to stand up outside linebacker. Here's the thing, the guy is so athletic and so versatile that I bet you a switch would be quite...
Today, it has been reported that John Abraham , who is arguably the best defensive end on the market right now, has a two-day visit with the Tennessee Titans. Multiple reports have the Titans interested in Abraham, which let's face it, why wouldn't they be, but should Abraham be interested in the Titans?
I'm here to tell you that John Abraham will not go to the Titans...
Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay can be a little crazy, but donating $75,000 to keep a local fan sports bar open is a solid move in our book.
Chris Polian, son of former Colts GM Bill Polian, has officially been hired by the Jaguars as their new director of pro personnel. The hiring shouldn't be surprising, considering that David Caldwell worked for Bill Polian and Chris Polian in Indianapolis from 1998 to 2007 before moving to Atlanta. In Atlanta, Caldwell helped Chris Polian find employment, and now, Caldwell is...
This week we found out that the Blue Crew Sports Grill on the north side of Indy was shutting down. It’s been a nice Colts themed restaurant and bar for 9 years, but unpaid debt was weighing heavy on owner Randy Collins. Evidently a $75,000 debt had lead to them closing their doors on Thursday.
Not so fast. Enter Colts owner Jim Irsay. Leave it to eccentric Irsay to bail out a...
