Tracy Porter may not get to play against his former team after all. Porter was listed as day-to-day by coach John Fox because he has yet to be cleared by doctors to play. The illness is related to symptoms that he previously suffered earlier this year leading up to a seizure that he had. Porter was not cleared to fly to San Diego for Denver's game two weeks ago as a precaution. "I want to play," Porter said in the locker room after practice Friday. "I've been out long enough with this. But the coaches, the training staff and the doctors are going to make a decision that's best for me. If they say I can't play, I've got to deal with it and look forward to playing next week. But if they say I can play, I'll be ready to play." The Broncos face one of the league's best passing attacks spearheaded by Drew Brees. The offense ranks third in scoring and Brees is one of the league leaders in passing yardage. If Porter is unable to play, expect Chris Harris to once again start in his place, with Tony Carter taking over the nickel cornerback role as he did last Monday night vs. the Chargers.
