The NFL’s All-Pro team is out — as voted on by the Associated Press — and two Patriots made the cut. Neither of this is surprising. WR Wes Welker and TE Rob Gronkowski are the two honored on the prestigious team, which only has one player per spot on the field. Welker had 122 catches and Gronk set the tight end receiving record with 1,327 yards. On the team that finished 13-3 and is the AFC’s No. 1 seed, no one else made it. QB Tom Brady, for instance, was left off, as Packers QB Aaron Rodgers got it over Saints QB Drew Brees. Rodgers earned it by a vote of 47.5 to 2.5. I think it’s safe to say the players aren’t too focused on this. Earlier in the week, Gronk said, “All that kind of stuff, whatever we did, our records, our win-loss column, that doesn’t matter anymore. That’s all in the past. It’s a one-game season now and that’s all we’re worried about. “
