Eagles QB Michael Vick“The fumbles” if the football gods were not looking down on the Eagles this season, they would be 1-4 and not 3-2. The reality of a 1-4 start would have been calls for Reid to be fired and/or the benching of Michael Vick. To dispute this fiction would be difficult as the calls for Nick Foles have been heard since the pre-season.Andy Reid’s “the fumbles need to get better” a dismissive answer because maybe he knows the problem is un-fixable. Vicks fumble in the end zone against Pittsburgh was not because he was running around with the ball unprotected. And it wasn’t some great defensive play that jarred the ball out. The ball was fumbled because Vick is not big enough or strong enough to protect the football in the NFL. Vick has had past success playing quarterback in the NFL , I am not denying it or attempting to take any away. But what other reason is there for that fumble or any of the others? The one fumble which was overturned with Vick being down by contact (foot) another example of Vicks lack of strength (if you saw the play it is hard to deny). So for Vick to get better and not fumble the ball has two answers:1> Protect him, keep him in the pocket, don’t let him run. Considering the offensive line mixed with Reid play calling this is an unlikely answer.2> Vick needs to hit the weight room  and strengthen his 32-year-old frame. His weakness is his body and that can be corrected. The only problem is we are already 5 games in and the gym will do little to help this season. For those searching for a possible answer to the fumbles, he is standing on the sidelines holding a clip board.Similar Posts:Eagles Sneak Out of Cleveland with Win, Calls for Foles Can Be HeardAndy Reid, change is desperately neededEagles lose in Pittsburgh 16-14 as Vick fumbles away victoryProtecting Vick and the ball, Eagles will win in ArizonaEagles will have to contain Giants potent D Line

  • This is the answer! Lets see shouldn't that be done in the off season?.

They will ride Vick all the way and then be gone! By By Reid/Vick

And for you Andy/Vick fans my suggeston to you go to school and learn about how the game is played and learn that things get better when you speak up about a bad coaching and play!
