Six-year-old Jack Pinto was among the 18 children killed during the shooting massacre at Sandy Hook Elementary School last Friday. On Tuesday, New York Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz paid his respects by visiting with Jake's family, friends, and loved ones.Cruz reportedly spent more than three hours in the Pinto's family home, a day after Jack was laid to rest. Jack was buried wearing the No. 80 of Cruz, Jack's favorite player. From New York Post:“Much love to the entire Pinto family. Great people with huge hearts,” Cruz tweeted shortly after leaving the home. “Looking at life through a different lens.”During the course of the visit, dozens of young kids — mostly boys — clad in Giants blue could be seen playing football and running around the lawn at the Pinto house.They left with bags full of Giants memorabilia.The visit was chaperoned by at least five police vehicles and plenty of officers.On Sunday, Cruz dedicated the Giants game against the Atlanta Falcons to the memory Jake by writing loving messages on his cleats and gloves.
