The Washington Redskins are one of the hottest teams in the NFL right now, having reeled off seven straight victories to end the season, which clinched the NFC East Division title. Not many people had predicted them to make it where they are now, leading up to their wildcard playoff game hosting the equally hot Seattle Seahawks this Sunday. The Redskins have been led this season by super-rookies Alfred Morris and QB Robert Griffin III.
During Coach Mike Shanahan’s press conference on Wednesday, RG3 posed as a reporter in the crowd to ask his coach a "question." It's pretty funny as Griffin asks "Coach, we just wanted to know ... what did you do for New Year's?" Shanahan starts to respond before realizing it's his quarterback positing the question. Shanahan responds "I tried to put a good game plan together, but I wasn't sure how healthy you were, so it was hard without you calling me." And then, "You got me good."
The Redskins are hoping the positive vibes carry over for this weekend during their improbable playoff run.

We are all right there with you 20 years of waiting, 20 years of heartbreak, 20 years of losing, 20 years of horrendous quarterbacks. So after the game on October 7th when Robert suffered a concussion...

Robert Griffin III tried playing through a right knee injury against the Seattle Seahawks in the playoffs on Sunday, but he couldn’t make it through the game. The Washington Redskins phenom left the game late in the fourth quarter after his injured right knee awkwardly bent inwards. It was the second time in the game Griffin was examined by the team.

The most sickening part about watching Robert Griffin III crumple in a heap just outside his own end zone with 6:19 left in the Washington Redskins' 24-14 wild card loss to the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday wasn't the way the rookie quarterback's right knee contorted, gruesomely, in a way that knees most certainly are not designed to bend.
Nor was it the chilling silence...
Robert Griffin III reached too far for the football, his already injured right leg twisting gruesomely behind him.
Just like that, Griffin was done. And so were the Washington Redskins.
The Seattle Seahawks finally won a road playoff game, snapping an eight-game postseason skid away from home with a 24-14 NFC wild-card victory Sunday over the Redskins, who lost Griffin to another...
Robert Griffin III knows he's getting criticized for playing
hurt in the Washington Redskins' playoff loss.
After trying to gut through a right knee injury for most of Sunday's wild card playoff game against the Seattle Seahawks, Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III left the game and did not return following a non-contact injury with 6:19 left in the fourth quarter.
On second-and-22 from his own 12-yard line and the Redskins trailing 21-14, Griffin's knee buckled...
If you watched the Redskins-Cowboys game, you knew RG3′s right knee was a mess. He couldn’t run, couldn’t really plant on the knee and needed Alfred Morris to have a historic game to beat Dallas. Then came last night. Can a brother get an amen for Mike Shanahan and Dr. Andrews should be ashamed of themselves?
How exactly do you throw the guy out there for nearly four quarters...
What is interesting is if there wasn’t a bad snap and RG3′s next pass was a TD he would be called a hero and warrior today. It is easy to find fault and cast blame in retrospect.
It appears RG3 has heard the critics and this was his response.

When it comes to defense the Baltimore Ravens looked flawless against the Colts. They were forcing Andrew Luck to make bad throws and were really dominating the Colts offensive line all day long.

Of the historic three rookie quarterbacks in the same postseason for the first time, Russell Wilson was drafted after Andrew Luck and Robert Griffin III. He wasn't even in the discussion for Offensive Rookie of the Year, but Luck and Griffin were. Now, Wilson is the only one left standing between the three breakout stars.Wilson and the Seattle Seahawks are moving on to face Matt...
