Start Em’ QB Cam Newton CAR 300 Passing Yards 50 Rushing yards 2 TD 0 INT

I see this game as a good old fashioned shoot out, with both defenses bringing little to the table. Newton should be way too much for the Colts to handle.

Sit Em’ QB Carson Palmer OAK 200 Passing Yards 0 TD 2 INT

Palmer’s mediocre numbers against poor defenses should not encourage any owner to trot him out there this week against a good defense.

Start Em’ RB Cedric Benson CIN 110 Rushing yards 1 TD

I expect to see the Bengals give the Browns a heavy dose of Benson. 30 plus carries should produce 100 plus yards and a trip in the end zone.

Sit Em’ RB Roy Helu  WAS 40 Total yards 0 TD

Helu is splitting carries and going up against a Seattle defense that has been shutting down opponents left and right. Can’t expect him to be a productive fantasy member this week.

Start Em’ WR Pierre Garcon IND 100 Receiving yards 1 TD

This should be the week that Garcon gets back on track. Facing a Panthers defense that gave up 5 passing touchdown, you have to expect Garcon to find the end zone at least once.

Sit Em’ WR Earl Bennett CHI 35 Receiving yards 0 TD

Without Jay Cutler, Bennett’s status as go to receiver is in serious doubt. It’s hard to believe Hanie will be as in sync with Bennett as Cutler.

Start Em’ TE Heath Miller PIT 85 Receiving yards 1 TD

Seeing how the Patriots and their tight ends went up and down the field against Kansas City, you have to expect the Steelers to do the same with Miller.

Sit Em’ TE Jake Ballard NYG 25 Receiving yards 0 TD

Ballard’s still battling an injured elbow that has him doubtful this week. Even if he gets on the field, you have expect a similar one catch performance out of him this week.

Start Em’ DEF NYJ  6 Points Allowed 3 Sacks 3 TO

The Jets face the Buffalo Bills at the perfect time. With Fred Jackson going down, Buffalo loses it only productive member of its offense. Should make it even easier for the Jet’s defense to shut down the Bills.

Sit Em’ DEF Denver 31 Points Allowed 1 Sack 1 INT

The Chargers offense has been humming lately. Don’t expect the Broncos defensive streak of holding teams under 20 points to last this week.

Sleeper of the Week: Toby Gerhart MIN and CJ Spiller BUF Projected 60 total yards 0 TD

Both running backs should get most if not all the carries for their offenses. But, they are both playing solid defenses with poor quarterback play behind them. That being said both backs have the potential to go off for big weeks.
