New York Jets @ Pittsburgh Steelers

After blowing up in week 1 the New York Jets offense once again showed it's real face and struggled. The Steelers defense is a great unit but even more so the Jet's offense is a mediocre squad. The Steelers were able to secure an easy 27-10 victory over the Jets.

Pittsburgh:

Ben Roethlisberger (275 yds 2 TD 0 ints) looked like Big Ben, evading sacks and staying upright until Mike Wallace or Antonio Brown get open. A viable spot start in fantasy, Roethlisberger's fantasy role will grow with bye weeks on the horizon.

Isaac Redman (12 att 25 yds 1 TD) once again started the game in place of Rashard Mendenhall and once again proved ineffective. Jonathan Dwyer (12 att 28 yds 0 TD) was just as ineffective as Redman and neither can be played wit confidence in your lineups.

Antonio Brown (7 rec 79yds 0 TD 10 targets) led the team in receptions, yardage and targets. A trend that is going to be continuing all season long. Mike Wallace (5 rec 74 yds 1 TD 5 targets) brought down all of his targets and still has that big play capability averaging 14.8 yards per catch this game. Emmanuel Sanders (3 rec 33 yards 0 TD 4 targets).

Heath Miller (3 rec 19 yds 1 TD).

New York Jets:

Mark Sanchez (138 yds 1 TD 0 ints) completed only 10 of his 27 pass attempts. An overall ugly game after a good showing week 1. Tim Tebow (had to.)

Shonn Greene (11 att 23 yds 0 TD) left the game after what was a possible concussion but returned to play. Either way he was ineffective before and after the injury concern.

Santonio Holmes (3 rec 28 yds 1 TD 11 targets) the reception to target ratio looks bad but in all reality it was mainly due to poor passes from quarterback Sanchez. Still with a shaky quarterback Holmes is hard to own at this point. Stephen Hill (0 rec 0 yds 2 targets). Jeremy Kerley (2 rec 67 yds 0 TD 4 targets).

Dustin Keller did not play.
