Found September 24, 2013 on Roto Rankings:
QB Geno Smith: Geno is coming out of week 3 having just put up 345 total yards and 3 total td’s. This week he faces the Titans and Tennessee has been pretty good against qb’s this year, but with the versatile Bilal Powell in the backfield and the emergence of Santonio Holmes, Geno has a good opportunity for continued success this week. The Jets defense should force additional opportunities as well by creating a turnover or two against Locker.RB: Johnathan Franklin: Franklin exploded for 103 yards on 13 carries and 23 yards on 3 receptions. He is on bye week 4 which makes for sneaky waiver pick up as Lacy already has a fumble and concussion in his first two games and Starks is hurt again.RB Flier LeGarrette Blount: Crazy huh? Well Blount notched the most rushing attempts last week out of the Pat’s backfield, granted most came in the fourth quarter while clock killing; but Coach Bill certainly didn’t use that time to build Ridley’s confidence. Blount rushed 14 times for 65 yards maintaining an impressive 4.6 yards a carry. The more Ridley struggles, Blount could gain flex value in 12 and 14 team leagues. RB Flier: Brandon Bolden: Is he the new Vereen? I think he is worth a gamble in deeper PPR leagues. 3 Rushes for 51 yards and 6 targets with 5 receptions for 49 yards.WR Ryan Broyles: Early news Tuesday morning was that Nate Burleson broke his arm in two places and the injury is going to require surgery. Broyles played limited snaps as he is making his way back from acl, but he caught all 3 of his targets for 34 yards in week 3. Last year Broyles flashed huge PPR upside prior to his injury. WR Flier’s: Nate Washington and Davone Bess: Both were week 3 target monsters with 10 targets each. Nate caught 8 for 131 and Bess 7 for 67. The flier appeal here is they both play opposite and stud WR that may be on the trade block.TE Rob Housler: Seeing his first action of the year Housler notched 3 targets, catching 1 for 13 yards. This week he faces the Tampa Bay Bucs who allow the 3 most fantasy points, 2nd most yards and 6th most receptions to TE’s. With Fitzgerald expected to see plenty of Revis this week Housler could be a backend TE1 play this week.

Same Story Different Day: Geno Smith Versus 2009 Mark Sanchez

Let me say something that many people, including great football minds, did not think they would hear. The New York Jets are 2-1.In reality, they could be 3-0 if they protected the ball against the New England Patriots in Week 2.But, something tells me that the team is content with their record. It does not matter who they played or how ugly the wins have been, the team is playing...

What We Learned: Bills at Jets 20-27

It was the battle of rookies on Sunday at Metlife. Second round QB selection Geno Smith squared off againt first round QB selection EJ Manuel, in the first of what could be many division matchups. There were some ups and downs from both offenses, but only one team came out with a victory. The wall that was the defensive front 7 for the Jets proved to be huge factor, once again. ...

My recap: Bills lose to the Jets, 27-20

This always happens with the Jets. I swear. Maybe it is my hatred towards their fan base and just having to live in enemy territory that makes me want to really beat down Gang Green. Just every time I feel confident heading into a Bills/Jets game, they just spank the **** out of us. I never pick the Bills to win games unless they are against a Florida team or Cleveland. So, when...

The Morning After: Buffalo Bills @ NY Jets Recap (20-27)

I swear, if the New York Jets handedly won a game, us crazed fans wouldn’t know how to act.  Another ugly win, smh…but still a win nonetheless.  Yesterday, the Jets got it done against the Buffalo Bills, 27-20. THE GOOD - It’s nice to have an offensive coordinator, Marty Mornhinweg, who calls aggressive games.  He recognized the Bills secondary was shorthanded, missing...

The Wheels on the Jets

It took them some time but the New York Jets finally got its engines churning against Buffalo on Sunday. There was the historical point – the first time ever the Jets had a 300 yard passer, 100 yard rusher and two receivers with over 100 yards on the same day – and the game was also full of miscues; twenty to be exact. Quarterback Geno Smith led the charge against the Bills,...

Player Week...

(Photo credit:  Ron Antonelli/Getty Images ) Surprise, surprise, the New York Jets are 2-1. While Smith was mostly to blame for the 13-10 week 2 loss to the New England Patriots, […]

Jets beat Bills despite 20 penalties

Rex Ryan might see yellow penalty flags in his sleep. Luckily for him and his New York Jets, an ugly afternoon still ended with an improbable victory. Geno Smith threw two touchdown passes, including a go-ahead 69-yarder to Santonio Holmes in the fourth quarter, and the Jets overcame a team-record 20 penalties to hang on and beat the Buffalo Bills 27-20 Sunday. ''I love...
