#1. Michael Crabtree SF 54 receiving yards 1 TD
When Crabtree has managed to be on the field he has managed to produced. He should become a solid fantasy receiving option.
#2. Javon Ringer TEN 102 total yards 0 TD
With Chris Johnson continually not producing, Tennessee is giving Ringer more and more chances to take over as the number one back. I would grab Ringer now and ride him come playoff time.
#3. Maurice Morris DET 65 total yards 1 TD
With Jahvid Best’s recurring injury problem, it’s only a matter of time before Morris is the number one running back in Detroit.
#4. Lance Moore NO 82 receiving yards 1 TD
Moore was one of the few fantasy players to succeed for New Orleans this week. He seems to always go for a lot or no points at all. So buyer beware.
#5. Tarvaris Jackson SEA 323 passing yards 0 TD 1 INT
When Jackson finally got inserted into the Seahawks lineup the offense started rolling. This could be a trend worth watching.
Three Trends to Watch
#1. For the Saints to go from scoring 62 points to 21 points against the 31st scoring defense is by far the biggest head scratcher of the week.
#2. You would have to think if Maurice Jones-Drew would just have a mediocre quarterback, he would be putting up ridiculous numbers. Owners could still be happy with his moderate numbers.
#3. Fred Jackson looks to be one of the biggest steals of the draft. He has killed any doubt about CJ Spiller taking over as the new number one running back.
