Denver Broncos wide receiver Wes Welker, cornerback Kayvon Webster and defensive end Derek Wolfe all returned to practice Wednesday afternoon. Welker suffered a concussion in the team’s Week 14 win against the Tennessee Titans, and Wednesday was his first day back at practice. “I think just getting back out there, running around, being with his teammates, getting his timing back – all those types of things,” coach John Fox said of Welker’s participation, via the team’s website. “He’s still in the steps of the concussion protocol and we’re taking it day-to-day. It was good to see him out there.” Webster, who fractured his thumb on Thursday Night Football against the San Diego Chargers in Week 15, missed last week’s win over the Texans after undergoing surgery, and was wearing a cast on his right hand as he ran through drills Wednesday. “He’s day-to-day,” Fox said. “He’s out there, he’s running around, the rest

With 6:57 remaining in Sunday’s game in Houston, Peyton Manning threw a touchdown pass to receiver Eric Decker, the quarterback’s 50th of 2013. (He threw one more on the afternoon, ending the day with 51, a new NFL record.) The pass, initially ruled a catch, was reviewed, and upon review, officials upheld the initial ruling.
Five days later, though, Texans interim head coach...

Houston Texans head coach Wade Phillips says the NFL told him that Peyton Manning’s record-tying touchdown pass last week shouldn’t have counted, per ESPN.com.
Phillips said the NFL informed the Texans that Broncos receiver Eric Decker’s second touchdown catch from Manning on Sunday shouldn’t have counted because Decker was juggling the...
Wade Phillips would like to put an asterisk on Peyton Manning's touchdown record.
The Houston Texans' interim coach said Friday the league agreed with him that Manning's record-tying 50th TD toss Sunday shouldn't have counted because Eric Decker bobbled the ball.
The touchdown still counts, however, as does Manning's 51st TD throw. That one to Julius Thomas...
Peyton Manning is officially the NFL’s record holder for most touchdown passes in a single season. His 51st touchdown pass of the year was reeled in by tight end Julius Thomas on Sunday, surpassing Tom Brady’s previous record of 50. However, Wade Phillips said the NFL informed him this week that Manning is actually still […]
Wes Welker returned to the Denver Broncos practice field on
Christmas Day for the first time since suffering his second
concussion on Dec. 12.
According to the league, Peyton Manning has only thrown 50 TDs, not a record 51. After Texans coach Wade Phillips asked for a review, the league determined Eric Decker's TD catch should not have been ruled a catch. That means Demaryius Thomas' record-setter should have tied, not broken the record.

Manny Ramirez has arguably the toughest job in pro football. As Peyton Manning's center, he literally works under the most demanding quarterback in the NFL.
Not only that, but before this season, the seventh-year journeyman from Texas Tech hadn't played a full year at center since his junior year at Willowridge High School in Houston — way back in 2000.

The boss, Alan Harrison, and I went in on a ticket for Millionaire Grand Final last week with a few of my other friends and turned $1,500 into $3,500. Sweet. Thank you Peyton Manning, Eric Decker and Pierre Garcon. We’re letting some of that money ride and playing in this week’s Sunday 200 Grand. The entry fee is $109. Take us on.
