Why Patriots QB Tom Brady likes to wear just one glove in the cold

Don’t be surprised today if Patriots QB Tom Brady walks onto the snowy, windy field and is only rocking one glove. Ya know, Michael Jackson style. In weather like this, you’d think he would do everything he can to cover up and be warm. Instead, Brady will likely wear one glove on his left hand and no glove on his throwing hand. As he was trying on gloves on Friday with backup Brian Hoyer, I asked him why. Turns out, Brady has worn gloves on both hands before. He hasn’t hated it. But he also likes to have a good feel of the ball. Now, as sticky as the ball is and as much as they can make sure it feel the way they like, there’s no need for a glove. You don’t need it to provide the extra grip and stickiness. As long as Brady can keep his right hand warm on that little handwarmer thing, he’s fine. Anyway, that’s why he looks like the King of Pop.
