The Rap Sheet:
Don’t be surprised today if Patriots QB Tom Brady walks onto the snowy, windy field and is only rocking one glove. Ya know, Michael Jackson style. In weather like this, you’d think he would do everything he can to cover up and be warm.
Instead, Brady will likely wear one glove on his left hand and no glove on his throwing hand. As he was trying on gloves on Friday with backup Brian Hoyer, I asked him why. Turns out, Brady has worn gloves on both hands before. He hasn’t hated it.
But he also likes to have a good feel of the ball. Now, as sticky as the ball is and as much as they can make sure it feel the way they like, there’s no need for a glove. You don’t need it to provide the extra grip and stickiness. As long as Brady can keep his right hand warm on that little handwarmer thing, he’s fine.
Anyway, that’s why he looks like the King of Pop.

Sunday’s game between the 10-2 New England Patriots and the 9-3 Chicago Bears has an added “element” of intrigue: that being the elements. The forecast for Sunday’s late afternoon/early evening game in Chicago is a grim one: snow in the morning, wind gusts between 25 and 40 mph blowing from end zone to end zone, and a wind chill in the single digits. Many of the analysts...
This was another impressive win for the young Patriots team, blowing out a very good NFC team in the Bears who came in with the number 3 defense in the NFL. And Tom Brady and the offense once again gashed a top 5 defense to the tune of 485 yards. Brady now has 29 TD passes with only 4 INTs on the season.

If you wondered how the snow and awful weather would affect the Patriots, it doesn’t look like it has changed a thing. They are still slinging it around, as Tom Brady is already 11 of 14 for 112 yards, while BenJarvus Green-Ellis is running ahead, as per usual.
Meanwhile, Wes Welker, who was really looking forward to playing in the snow, is thriving in it. He has six catches for...

We’ve made it through the sleet and the snow, through sketchy driving conditions to finally land at Soldier Field. Yup, the press box is indoors, but the game will not be. The crew at Soldier Field has taken the snow off the tarp four times, with the last coming right now.
Piece by piece, they are removing the tarp and the Patriots are coming on the field and warming up.
