Here’s an idea for ya Michael Lombardi and company. Use one of the Browns high draft picks to select a player with medical problems. Wait, the team just did that in the 2012 draft. They selected a player that had knee problems and needed to have knee surgery that would eliminate him from participating from preseason football. Why not do it again, keep the tradition going, use a high draft pick on a guy that has medical problems, then insert him into a sport that could end his career before it even gets started. That seems to be the Cleveland way. This will give the fans the excuse that Cleveland is cursed. The Cleveland Browns have shown great interest in Jarvis Jones, the player that played outside linebacker for the Georgia Bulldogs. The guy that the Lions are saying is too risking to use the number 5 pick on. Jones was diagnosed with spinal stenosis in 2009. Sure he was able to perform at a high level in college, but this is the NFL. Players face the very best football has to off...

  • I hope not! Heckert got too big for his britches with regards to gambling on players. He wanted to look like "the" genius guy stealing players. What actually occurred was Holmgren and Heckert stole opportunities from the Browns.
I hope to see a much more sensible approach in this year's draft. I'm thankful that Holmgren and Heckert both are no longer part of the selection process.
