Here’s who to target in your race to the waiver wire; week nine edition: Rashad Jennings, RB, Oakland Raiders: 8% owned in Yahoo! - Run DMC aggravated the same hamstring injury that kept him out of week five, Jenning is set to once again take over as starter. - On 15 carries he ran for 102 yards and a touchdown and had 74 receiving yards. - It’s tough to truly evaluate performance in a blowout like Sunday’s, but against a non-existent Giants’ defense, he should be productive once again as a starter. Andre Brown, RB, New York Giants: 36% owned in Yahoo! - Brown’s been mentioned here the last couple weeks, but if you didn’t beat the rush to snag him, now’s your time. - The Giants say they’ll ease him in during week 10′s matchup with Oakland, but it could be eaiser said than done. - His current competition is Brandon Jacobs and Peyton Hillis. Brown will only have to outperform them for so long before forcing Coach Coughlin to give him the ball more. Chris Ivory, RB, New York Jets: 45% owned in Yahoo! - With 139 yards on 18 carries against his old team, Ivory looked every bit like an every down back. - While the Jets offense seems to produce a new ‘star’ every week, Ivory has the best chance of repeating his performance. Riley Cooper, WR, Philadelphia Eagles: 11% owned in Yahoo! - With Foles at the helm, Cooper looked like a stud on Sunday with 139 yards and three touchdowns. - That kind of performance is more than enough to further endear a receiver to his quarterback and with Foles being named the starter the rest of the way, Cooper could become a regular producer in Philadelphia. Of all the so-called backup QB’s to impress on Sunday, Keenum’s the one with the strongest hold on his job going forward. (Photo: Michelle Watson) Next best thing: Case Keenum, QB, Houston Texans: 10% owned in Yahoo! - While it was a bit of a tale of two halves Sunday night, the first half impressed enough to make him worth a pickup. - It’s never a bad idea to own the guy throwing to Andre Johnson, as the two hooked up for three scores. - With Schaub still on the shelf, Keenum will have a couple more opportunities to ensure Schaub doesn’t get his job back upon return. Aaron Dobson, WR, New England Patriots: 36% owned in Yahoo! - It was clear that Rob Gronkowski was going to make the Patriots better. But the tight end has also had a positive impact on the rookie receiver. - With Thompkins healthy scratched, Dobson played on over 90% of snaps as the ‘X’ receiver. A position he’s likely to hold onto. - With Gronk and Amendola getting all the defensive attention, Dobson could find himself open for big plays and is earning himself looks from Tom Brady, Mike James, RB, Tampa Bay Buccaneers: 48% owned in Yahoo! - James was much more productive Sunday than he was in week eight, with 158 rushing yards. - He threw for a touchdown pass as well, which likely won’t happen every week, but with Doug Martin expected to miss more time, James should be able to give you respectable production for a couple of weeks at least. Marlon Brown, WR, Baltimore Ravens: 10% owned in Yahoo! - After several weeks of inconsistency, Brown saw a team high nine targets. - He caught five of them for 54 yards and two touchdowns, adding a catch for a two point conversion. - It’s a crowded mediocre receiving corps in Baltimore, but Brown clearly has some chemistry with Joe Flacco at the very least. Kendall Wright, WR, Tennessee Titans: 51% owned in Yahoo! - Wright and Nate Washington appear to be taking turns as the top receiver in Tennessee. - With 69 yards against a fairly tough Rams defense, it’s likely Wright does even better next week against the Jags.   Worth a shot: Mike Brown, WR, Jacksonville Jaguars: 7% owned in Yahoo! - He plays for the Jaguars so don’t expect too much, but with the Justin Blackmon suspension, Brown will get an increased role. - He has the talent to produce, the question remains if his quarterback does. Robert Meachem, WR, New Orleans Saints: 0% owned in Yahoo! - Meachem had four receptions for 93 yards and a score. - Colston and Sproles were out so he saw an increased work load. It’ll be tough to produce consistently for Meachem, but if either or both of his aforementioned teammates continue to miss time, he could be a sneaky play. Rod Streater, WR, Oakland Raiders: 11% owned in Yahoo! - Similarly to Jennings, it’s tough to judge individual performance in blowouts, but Streater had 98 yards. - Don’t expect much, but the ability is there for Streater to post big game numbers.
