OK, so more than likely Ovechkin isn’t really hanging with these fellas, instead just taking the time to pose with them after they found him wandering on a Miami beach.  But that’s just assuming that Ovie has a higher class of friends than these guys.  I could be wrong—I mean, he is wearing camo shorts after all. Hard to blame Ovechkin for bailing on the NHL All-Star Game, even if his reasoning is questionable. Given the option of spending three days in January in the sunny clime of Miami versus the frigid city that is the capital of Canada, the warm weather and bikini-clad babes will win out every time. Alex Ovechkin Enjoying Miami Beach Instead Of All-Star Festivities

Alex Ovechkin told the NHL he wouldn’t be attending the all-star game in Ottawa this weekend because, “My heart is not there. A couple different groups of 20-somethings, including GiddyBang, yesterday took photos with the Russian...

Alex Ovechkin Is Making A Cameo In ‘Revenge of the Nerds II: Nerds In Paradise’ Remake? (Pic)

My first question would be: why are they doing a remake of the sequel to Revenge of the Nerds II: Nerds In Paradise before doing a remake of the original? Because I am dying to see who they will cast as Betty Childs. I guess it’s probably because .38 Special really needs the money. Second [...]

All-Star Weekend: Forget Alexander Ovechkin, Patrick Kane emerges as skills competition star

When Alexander Ovechkin decided to skip the 2012 All-Star weekend, it seemed the skills competition would be jeopardized. Who could possibly replace this? Patrick Kane. How could I forget? You probably have seen it already. But let’s check it out again: The Superman cape wasn’t the most original, but the Clark Kent glasses made it his own. Perhaps Kane was just...
