Found May 31, 2013 on Days of Y'Orr:
PLAYERS: Jaromir Jagr
TEAMS: Boston Bruins
Part of the fun of playoff hockey is the beards. Krug's beard is lacking but the vets can really get into some fun styles. This year Jaromir Jagr is sporting the  Lemmy Kilmister look. Here's Jagr trying to seduce you in his bathroom: Grrrrrr,,,,, More Jagr beard and Marchand has tips for your face fur after the jump... And here's Jagr... oh god, what are you doing with the hat!? He's not the only one getting into the facial fur spirit. Brad "Patchy Scruff" Marchand has some tips for those new to growing a beard. Rest of the team talks about who has the best beard. Pando's got a solid beard but Boychuk's right there with him. Surprisingly Dougie has a good beard for being only 19, though we'll never see it again 'til next year most likely. This is all we have to report until the conference finals starts. It's like Lockout 2013 2.0. Oof.

David Krejci Misses Bruins Practice Thursday, Reason for Absence Was ‘Minimal Maintenance’

The Bruins were without the league’s leading playoff scorer Thursday at practice, but it’s apparently nothing to be too concerned about. David Krejci didn’t take the ice for Bruins practice at Ristuccia Arena in Wilmington, Mass., on Thursday morning, which may have been a little bit unsettling for Bruins fans after Krejci practiced on Tuesday and Wednesday. However, B’s...

Prohibition ended 80 years ago, but one Pittsburgh bar is bringing it back. Kind of. Pittsburgh bar, Howler’s Coyote Café will ban the sale of Boston beer, Sam Adams starting on Saturday night when the Penguins face off against the Boston Bruins. This was the “public service announcement from the staff at Howlers” on the bar’s Facebook page: It seems crazy to prohibit...

WILMINGTON, Mass. — The smile spread across Matt Bartkowski‘s face even before the question was finished. How will it feel to play against his hometown Penguins, the team he rooted for as a youngster? “I can’t believe how many times I’ve been asked that,” the Bruins rookie defenseman said with a laugh. “It’s going to be awesome.” Especially if Boston upsets Pittsburgh...

Building a model in Boston

Two years ago on the eve of the Eastern Conference Finals, I probably sat in a library somewhere preparing for finals. In one part of my mind I was probably focused on accounting or marketing or something like that. The other part was focused on the Eastern Conference Finals for the Boston Bruins and how unexpected and spectacular it was. Back then, the Boston Bruins were more akin...

Dennis Seidenberg, Zdeno Chara Will Need to Play Big Minutes for Bruins to Combat Pittsburgh Firepower (Audio)

The Bruins were expected to have some problems in their defensive zone against the New York Rangers after key injuries on the Boston blue line. That didn’t prove to be the case, but as Dennis Seidenberg and other D-men return to the lineup, the B’s still have their work cut out for them. The Penguins have one of the most powerful offenses in the NHL, and despite the emergence...

Bruins, Penguins Finally Get Underway in Eastern Conference Final That Feels Like Entire Year Has Built to (Video)

Say what you will about the effects that the NHL schedule had on this lockout-shortened season, but it feels like the last two teams standing in the Eastern Conference would have been there regardless of how many games they played. The Bruins and Penguins had been the two best teams for just about all of the regular season in 2013, and it seems fitting that they are playing for the...

Claude Julien shows John Tortorella the love

Photo via BostonHerald.comScott LevesqueManaging Editor It's been six carefree days since the Bruins sent the New York Rangers and John Tortorella packing for a long off-season break.
