The Bruins knocked the Penguins off their game while grabbing a 1-0 series lead on Saturday. Problem is, the Pens know that’s what happened — so they will be extra vigilant in not allowing that it to happen in Game 2. That could make repeating Game 1′s successful result a little more difficult for the Bruins, who did a fantastic job of imposing their style of play on Pittsburgh the last time out. Now, it will be interesting to see whether Sidney Crosby and friends try to do the same thing in Game 2 — or if they allow the Bruins to set the tone once again. Pilot asks if crying baby is Crosby?

During a Tuesday flight bound for Boston, a JetBlue pilot allegedly took to the intercom and inquired if a crying baby was Penguins star Sidney Crosby.

Crosby: Game 2 was “pretty much a gift”

It seems that the Pittsburgh Penguins, and especially their captain, are very reluctant to credit the Bruins and their players for the struggles the Pens have dealt with in the first two games of the Eastern Conference Finals. Captain Sidney Crosby, who has struggled mightily through the first few games, didn’t offer much praise for Patrice Bergeron or Chris Kelly, the counterparts...

Pilot: Is that a crying baby or Crosby?

Even pilots are getting in on the Sidney Crosby bashing. According to Joe Haggerty of, the pilot on a JetBlue flight from Pittsburgh back to Boston on Tuesday morning heard a crying baby and went on the intercom to ask if it was the Penguins captain. The flight just happened to be filled with Boston media. Crosby has been taking some heat from fans and media for complaining...

Sidney Crosby - You're Our Only Hope by @ChrisRBarron

There is a lot of the blame game getting played this morning by Pens fans and hockey talking heads - and there is plenty of blame to go around.  The Pens leave Pittsburgh - headed to Boston - in a 2 games to none hole.  Even worse, the Pens just got demolished in game 2.  Completely and totally dominated in every single facet of the game.  There is very little to look at from...

JetBlue Pilot jokes that crying baby is Sidney Crosby

With the Boston Bruins up 2-0 in their Eastern Conference Finals, it seems that even JetBlue Pilots are taking shots at Pittsburgh Penguins star Sidney Crosby. A JetBlue flight bound from Pittsburgh to Boston that was carrying media members covering the series got a little comical after the pilot made a joke about a crying baby on board: Baby crying in back of Jet Blue...

Pilot asks if crying baby on board flight is Sidney Crosby

Sidney Crosby has been held without a point through the first two games of the Eastern Conference Finals, which virtually no one — including the Boston Bruins — saw coming. The Pittsburgh Penguins’ captain has not only failed to score, but he has given away chances and committed costly turnovers. On Tuesday morning, the pilot [...]

This Zdeno Chara/Sidney Crosby photoshop perfectly sums up the Bruins-Penguins series so far

Losing 3-0 at home to open the Eastern Conference Finals was bad enough, but getting thrashed 6-1 in Game 2 is downright ugly. Trailing in the series 2-0 and heading back to Boston doesn’t bode well for the Pittsburgh Penguins, and this brilliant photoshop job of Zdeno Chara hoisting Sidney Crosby over his head—via Reddit—is the literal representation of the series thus far...

Fitting Penguins Humor; Sidney Crosby crying about the officiating already

Haha this is funny @jroadsreal @goon48… — gretchen berg (@bergcar5) June 2, 2013 Someone put this on twitter last night, I know it's old but it fits with the current Pittsburgh Penguins, especially with Sidney Crosby whining about the officiating after last night's game. Apparently, Sid bad mustache and all didn't watch the game between...

CBC's "Sid-Cam" is one of the craziest things you'll ever see

Currently, during Game One of the Boston Bruins and Pittsburgh Penguins, on, a "Sid-Cam" is being streamed. Basically, for the entire game, there is a camera on Sidney Crosby. Even when he's on the bench and during commercial breaks. Poor Crosby. Has no privacy. The only thing missing is if they followed the Penguins captain into the dressing room during period...

Will Crosby Find His Game?

from Dan Shaughnessy of the Boston Globe, All eyes will certainly be on Sidney Crosby. Now that LeBron James has rescued the Heat in a Game 7, Crosby is the sports star with the most to prove in the spring of 2013. His reputation has taken a massive hit in the first two games of this series and he risks morphing into a Wilt Chamberlain/A-Rod pinata if he continues to pout and...

Penguins-Bruins Preview

Sidney Crosby and the potent Penguins have been punchless. Pittsburgh led the NHL in scoring in the regular season. It averaged 4.27 goals per game in the first two rounds of the playoffs. And it poured in 13 goals in the last two games of the Eastern Conference semifinals. Since then? No addition necessary. The Penguins have just one goal in two losses on their home ice to the...

Bruins Put Chill On Penguins, Grab 1-0 Series Lead

The Pittsburgh Penguins have Sidney Crosby, Evgeni Malkin, James Neal, Jerome Iginla, Kris Letang and a host of offensive roll players who scored at almost a five goal a game clip in the playoffs.  They are supposed to be an offensive juggernaut that blows through opponents on the way to meeting Chicago for the cup. The Boston Bruins have Tuukka Rask.  That's plenty good...

Defense Wins Championships

Everyone has heard the mantra. Well, everyone except the Pittsburgh Penguins apparently. It has been a bloodbath for the Pens thus far at home and defensive breakdowns have handed a two game lead for the Bruins. Photo Credit: Associated Press Dan Bylsma would not have guessed that his team would be outscored 9-1 in the first two games, but I would bet he would be even more shocked...
