If you haven't heard it at least 10 times already, Craig Custance at ESPN Insider reminds Rangers fans that the Blueshirts will be interested in Zach Parise, Rick Nash and Alexander Radulov this offseason....is ESPN kidding me charging for this "inside" information? Way to be on top of things fellas. I've posted about the Rangers interest in Parise and Nash at least five times since they were eliminated less than two weeks ago. World wide leader in sports? I think not. One nugget that Custance does offer is that if the Rangers can't sign Parise that they'd do well to target Anaheim's Bobby Ryan, if the Ducks opt to move him this summer.Ryan finished the season with 31g, 26a. The New Jersey native has 131 goals in the last four seasons. Ryan is making $5.1 million per until 2015....if you remember, the Rangers were said to be the front runners to obtain Ryan in a trade back in December, but the Ducks decided to hold on their sniper....you'd have to t...

The Eastern Conference Finals only provided further evidence that Zach Parise is a terrific player and would be an ideal fit for the New York Rangers.
There’s little doubt that GM Glen Sather is going to make Parise a massive multi-year offer when he becomes an unrestricted free agent on July 1st, but despite New York’s desire to convert the Devils’ captain into a true blue...
Zach Parise & his fans (Photo credit: New Jersey State Library)
This will be one of the top stories in the NHL this summer - where is Zach Parise going to sign and with what team. Personally, I hope the Boston Bruins or the the home town Minnesota Wild are going to be choices for the former Fighting Sioux First Team All-American and star forward Parise.
Larry Brooks at the New York Post feels that New Jersey's financial issues will make it all but impossible for the Devils to re-sign Zach Parise this offseason and that the Rangers are likely to extend front-loaded, bonus-laden offer to their cross river rival's captain....think Brad Richards contract, only Parise would likely finish his with the Rangers.Greg Wyshynski at...

One wonders if Zach Parise will be playing his last game as a Devil in Hockeywood tonight.
Parise has been a no-show for in the Cup Finals. He's scored 7 goals and added 7 assists in the 2012 playoffs, however, he's been held scoreless by the Kings in the Finals. He's -3 and has only been able to muster 11 shots on Jonaton Quick. With Kovalchuk's back in obvious...
Less than a month from today, the free agent frenzy will commence; it will be here before we know it! Where will Zach Parise land? With the lack of talent in free agency, will there be more trades? Here’s a quick look at the market for forwards this summer…Teams potentially looking for a top-six forward:Boston, Calgary, Carolina, Columbus, Detroit, Minnesota, Montreal,...
On a very grumpy morning for a mildly aggravated blogger: Regardless of what you, I or Red Wings GM Ken Holland would like to believe as to whether Zach Parise, Ryan Suter or any other player might test the waters of unrestricted free agency, the plain and simple truth of the matter is that it’s the player’s decision. The player’s current rights-holders can do everything in...
While waiting for news from Shark Territory, there has been plenty to think about. I’ve seen Sharks fans call for a shedding of dead weight from the team, several still hoping to acquire Rick Nash, presumably in exchange for that dead weight. Some names that come up on the fan “to go” list: Patrick Marleau, Douglas Murray, Ryane Clowe, Antti Niemi. I hate seeing anyone...
New Jersey Devils @ Los Angeles KingsStanley Cup Final, Game 38:00 ET… TV: NBC Sports Network, CBCPlayers to watch:NJ- Zach PariseIt’s pretty simple: the Devils need their stars to elevate their game. Los Angeles’ top players have come through in the key moments; New Jersey’s have not. Captain Parise doesn’t have a point yet in this series; that will have...
The 1942 Maples Leafs. The 1975 Islanders. The 2010 Flyers.
The only teams in NHL history to go down 3-0 in a playoff series and come back to win.
Only the '42 Leafs did it in the Stanley Cup final.
That's the task ahead of the Devils after their 4-0 loss to the Kings in Game 3 Monday night. Game 4 is Wednesday night in Los Angeles, which is now hockey country.

It's do-or-die time for the New Jersey Devils tonight as they try to avoid elimination.
The most frustrating part of the season couldn’t have come at a worse time for New Jersey Devils fans. The New Jersey Devils are basically sitting at the base of Mt. Everest hoping they can make the best of their climb to rewriting the history books.
While it seems pretty hopeless that...
from Larry Brooks of the NY Post, See, here’s the thing: If the Devils truly believe they worked to maximum effort last night, if they believe that other for a break or two they could have won this Game 3 that turned out to be a 4-0 rout for the Kings, then they have no hope at all in tomorrow night’s Game 4.
“We played well,” Zach Parise insisted even after the club unraveled...
Now here we are........please note this obviously could be the last game of the season tonight. If not, the scene shifts back to New Jersey on Saturday.
It is Wednesday already and time for Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Finals between the Los Angeles Kings and the New Jersey Devils. When you have an eight seed up against a six seed, one has to say that this is...
