If you haven't heard it at least 10 times already, Craig Custance at ESPN Insider reminds Rangers fans that the Blueshirts will be interested in Zach Parise, Rick Nash and Alexander Radulov this offseason.

...is ESPN kidding me charging for this "inside" information? Way to be on top of things fellas. I've posted about the Rangers interest in Parise and Nash at least five times since they were eliminated less than two weeks ago. World wide leader in sports? I think not.

One nugget that Custance does offer is that if the Rangers can't sign Parise that they'd do well to target Anaheim's Bobby Ryan, if the Ducks opt to move him this summer.

Ryan finished the season with 31g, 26a. The New Jersey native has 131 goals in the last four seasons. Ryan is making $5.1 million per until 2015.

...if you remember, the Rangers were said to be the front runners to obtain Ryan in a trade back in December, but the Ducks decided to hold on their sniper.

...you'd have to think, similar to Nash, the Rangers would have to give up a ton to get Ryan. Including maybe McD or Stepan.

...i do think Sather still needs to make a call to Anaheim GM Bob Murray to test the waters.

Custance also adds that because of Chris Kreider's outstanding playoff performance, Columbus might be even more insistent on him being included in a potential package for Nash.

...Columbus GM Howson shouldn't even bother picking up the phone if he's going to ask Sather for Kreider.

In other possible free agent news, Steve Zipay at Newsday thinks that while the Rangers need a scorer, F Zenon Konopka and D Shane O'Brien would help address the team's depth issue.

...after watching Konopka win faceoff after faceoff against the Rangers in the playoffs, I'd love to see him wearing a Blueshirt next season.

...Shane O'Brien would be a nice replacement for Michael Sauer, who doesn't look like he'll be back anytime soon, on the blueline.

***

Now that Mike Sullivan will likely be back behind the Rangers bench after not getting the Calgary job, Elliotte Friedman at CBC thinks the Blueshirts might look to add a third coach to be the "good cop" and a buffer to John Tortorella.

...with all the young guys on the team, Ken Gernander might be the perfect man for the job.

Dmitry Chesnokov at Puck Daddy reports that Erik Christensen has signed with Lev Prague of the KHL.

...Christensen's game couldn't be more perfect for the KHL. No defense or effort needed. I wouldn't be surprised to see Christensen up for KHL league MVP next season.

***

If Kings fans are anything, they're creative (H/t to reader Diane, via TMZ)...

...Devils players better get their fist pump ready, because they're more likely to be partying in Seaside this weekend than playing hockey.

Finally, the Rangers counted down Ryan Callahan's top five moments of the season and came up with this as #1...

...would have been cool if one of the top five would have been a blocked shot.
