Looking for NHL gossip? There you go! The Vancouver Canucks head to Nashville to play their second game of a four game road trip on Tuesday night. Vancouver has fared well recently in Nashville winning the last four meetings there but this Predators team is on some sort of role in winning 14 of their last 17 games.

*NHL ATS Matchup Report*
The Canucks will certainly have their lands full in a battle of two of the top 4 teams in the West.
Vancouver has been getting the results – 4-0-2 in their last six games but they have been getting it done in rather unspectacular form. Wins are wins, points are points and nobody is going to look back at season’s end to dissect just how Vancouver ended up where they did.
The Canucks have had a knack of playing close games recently – they have needed extra time in four straight games and they have two losses in their last six but both came via a shootout allowing the team to garner 10 of the possible 12 points available – amazing.
The offense has stumbled a bit as of late – Henrik Sedin and Daniel Sedin have struggled mightily to get anything going. It has been the second a third lines that have been carrying the team.
Ryan Kesler has scored in three straight games and in four of his last five while David Booth has six points in six games. This may be a good game for the Sedins to get back on track.
They have a combined three goals and five assists in the last two games against the Predators.
The goaltender flip-flop has continued for the Canucks but it is likely Roberto Luongo that draws the start Tuesday. He is 6-3-0 in his last nine versus Nashville with a 1.71 goals against average.
Lou is 1-0-1 with a 2.333 goals against average in his last two starts overall with a .944 save percentage. He hasn’t gotten a ton of help however – he has faced at least 41 shots in three of his last five games.
Nashville is smokin’ hot – 14 wins in 17 games has them fourth in the West and second in the Central. They have won six of their last seven games overall and have the hottest goaltender on the planet to go along with a surprisingly emerging offense.
Nashville continues to be one of the most complete teams in the NHL – 9th in goals for and 9th in goals against. They also have the second best power play in the NHL – 0.1% behind league leading Vancouver in that department.
Mike Fisher is absolutely on fire and has scored six goals in five games, Martin Erat has three points in two games and Ryan Suter has five points in five.

Matt Halischuk – another one of the Nashville “no-names” has recorded five points in five games.
Pekka Rinne has been absolutely brilliant as of late between the pipes for Nashville. He has won 11 straight contests and has won 20 of his last 22 starts! During his 11 game streak, Rinne has given up more than two goals only one time and has a sparkling 1.55 goals against average over that span.
However, Rinne has struggled against Vancouver – a 2-6 record with a 2.82 goals against average in his last nine appearances versus the Canucks.Dave’s Free Won’t Cost You Anything NHL Betting Prediction:
Nashville is the hottest team in the NHL at the moment and they have been very good at home – 13-3 in their last 16 home games.
With Vancouver playing just OK, expect this to be a difficult game for the visitors. Vancouver is long overdue for a regulation loss and I think it happens on Tuesday night.
Pick: Nashville Predators -116
